Economy :Ar-Ramtha's economy relies on commerce and import and export trading. The Al Hassan industrial estate houses several outsourcing companies supported by foreign shareholders with most of the products sold to American and European markets.

Wadial-Shallala

al Shalala is located in Al Ramtha its one the most beautiful natural tourist areas there, its located four kilometers from the city center. The water spring between the mountain is What makes wade al Shalala very special. The region includes a number of archaeological and historical sites dating back to the Stone and Bronze Ages, it was on the way of the trip direction ancient people used to use .

Tel al fukhar.

Located in the eastern part of Al Shalala vally dating back to the Bronze Age, there is a historical houses built of mud and stones, it was the first defensive location for the city.

Establish a future literal city in al Ramtha at an estimated cost (700) thousand dinars.

establish a new position for trucks parking at an estimated cost (650) thousand dinars will increase the investment in al Ramtha.

A new under construction Commercial complex contain 71 shops and nine apartments at a cost of 750 000 dinars, the income 80000 dinar per year will goes to the municipality.
