• Inviscid (ie panel methods) used extensively

• Analytical methods also used (many assumptions, limitations)

• Limited viscous CFD results• Inappropriate boundary conditions often

used• Experimental results scarce / unreliable

• Higher order discretising schemes

• RNG or Realizable k- turbulence model, standard wall functions
