Achanakmar Wildlife Sanctuary
Achanakmar is a wildlife park in Chhattisgrah having number of animals including tigers,leoperds,deers etc.
It is Central Indi's tiger heartland located from 60 km from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh and was established in 1975.
Achanakmar Wildlife Sanctuary is most visited spot in Chhattisgarh because of its tiger species.
It is located within dense forest so safety measure should be taken. Save tigers projects are started for this
Sanctuary.
Visitors come every month here to enjoy beautiful moments and click rare pictures of tigers. But the best time is June to
November because climate is best at that time.
The reserve is also a part of the much greater Achanakmar-Amarkantak Biosphere Reserve.
Sal, saja, haldu, dhawara, lendia, khamar, teak, tinsa, bija and bamboo grows here along with more than 600
varieties of therapeutic plants.
Tigers are the main attraction of this sanctuary because they are rarely found species now.
Along with tigers,deers, peacocks are also found here and so other animals.

The climate and environment around this area is also good. So it's a nice spot for nature lovers.
