Full names of authors are often indexed under different entries

The indexing of author names with prefixes is often inconsistent in English databases

Use the author index to find all entries

Go to Indexes

van den hoofdakker, r

… type prefix / surname / comma / space / initial, click Browse

When looking for asurname with prefixes…

Select one or more terms and Add to search

hoofdakker, r

Change name to Hoofdakker, R. and

click Browse

Select the term and click Add
