Eachyear,theBuildingsandGroundsSupervisormeets with building principals, instrucBonalstaff, and business supervisors to develop aCapital Maintenance and Improvement PlanthatispresentedtoourFinanceCommiPeeandthenourfullBoardofEducaBonforapproval.

RecommendaBonGuidelinesWecloselyexamineandtakeintoconsideraBonthefollowingfactorswhenpresenBngourannualCapitalMaintenanceandImprovementPlan:

-Studentsafety/security/regulatorycompliance-EnsuretheplananditsbudgetesBmatesprovidefornecessaryandongoingmaintenance-IncludeprojectsthatwilleitherimproveormaintaintheexisBnglearningenvironment-SupportstheBoard'sadoptedStrategicPlan-Considersnotonlycurrentcostsofaproject,butpotenBalongoingmaintenanceand/oroperaBonalcosts-TakesintoconsideraBonthelevelofcommunitysupport(donaBonsand/orwhetherornotareferendumisnecessary)
