And The Birds Fell From The Sky

Slip on your personal video goggles and headphones and get ready to take a dreamy and dangerous joyride for two. Combining cinema and theatre, this immersive performance casts you as the main character at the heart of a compelling and wild journey.

With your eyes and ears hijacked you will find yourself liberated in a wild and anarchic fictional world. As the narrative unravels all your senses including smell, touch and movement are fused together in one unforgettable experience.

But don’t worry the Faruk Clowns are always there to guide you...

Il Pixel Rosso present

“This is something very special and unforgettable which will resonate for every audience… An outstanding piece of theatre.” ***** Fringe Review

Multi award-winning company The Sleepwalk Collective present two sides to the same story – one to watch as part of a crowd and one to watch as the centre of attention. You can see either show on its own but surely you want to experience both to see the whole picture?

Based in Spain and the UK, and laden with awards from festivals across Europe, this is one of the most talked about young companies to emerge onto the theatre scene in recent years.

Part of the CrowdWed 30 May Harrogate Studio Theatre

A lone woman in a blonde ‘Marilyn’ wig and slick black dress stands at a tall microphone. She speaks to you directly but with an accent that’s hard to place and poetic text that, like a dream, starts in one place and ends in another. This is Iara, she is looking for someone’s arms to drift into, will she choose yours?

Like falling into a David Lynch movie …The Sirens chops up and replays the iconography of B-movies and early cinema in a joyous attempt to re-work cinematic and cultural clichés.

Mixing live-art and a richly composed soundscape with subtle and surreal imagery this unique experience examines the relationship between a performer and her audience.

Centre of AttentionSat 2 JuneCrown Hotel

A private cinematic encounter in a hotel room to be experienced alone, with a soft-voiced B-movie femme fatale, a melodramatically ominous soundtrack and what may or may not be poison in your drink. Ideal, in short, for lonely hearts, private detectives with drinking problems and tattooed sailors on shore leave...

This is a luxurious opportunity to have a show performed just for you and a chance to try something different.

“Edgy & playful” Total Theatre Magazine

“Connects instantly... provoking a riot of sensations” GARA
