“Thank you for creating a place where an individual can feel at home, can feel safe, and can feel accepted. Thank you for recruiting loving, caring TL's that encourage kids to do their best. And thank you for the wonderful program that provides all of this: SuperCamp.” - David

DavidSunnyvale, CA

“I'd like to formally thank you for the scholarship reward I  received. Given my financial situation, without it I might not have been able to attend SuperCamp. To ensure you that the money was well spent, I will share with you my increased knowledge of strategies and overall skills that I gained from SuperCamp.

Before those ten days at San Marcos SuperCamp, I was scared. Scared of failure, and unsure whether to pursue my subjects of interest. Contributing to my intimidation of trying new things was being afraid of looking like a fool. However, my eyes were opened at camp. Because "Failure leads to Success"! If I fail, it's no big deal, that is the best way to learn how to do something. I will continue to emphasize this metaphor: Life is like a maze. It may take a few beeps and buzz's, but once you get there, success will come.”

PebblesTulsa, Oklahoma

Pebbles left the “rough side” of Chicago when she was 6 years old to move to Oklahoma.

“We moved in search of a better life. Despite what I have seen and been through growing up, I learned right from wrong at an early age and always chose to be better and do better. That decision has enabled me to be very well determined and confident about achieving success.” - Pebbles

Pebbles aspires to be a Pediatrician for kids with special needs.

PebblesTulsa, Oklahoma

“Staying open minded about situations whether you like something or not or when you agree or disagree to something, those are the times when we learn the most about things, other people and ourselves especially. We are able to approach the situation positively with the motivation to want to learn and know more.”
