1960s Croquis During the 20th century, changing tastes in fashion emphasised different parts of the female body. The silhouette looked different in different decades.

Compare the 1960s silhouette with the curvy 1950s one. Younger models such as Twiggy became very famous and promoted a youthful, almost childlike look. This suited the mini-dress and other fashions of the period.
