BUT

What God Won’t Do2 Peter 3:8-10

You may eat freely from any tree of the garden; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you shall surely die.

Now, therefore, fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served beyond the river in Egypt, and serve the Lord. And if it is disagree-able in your sight to

serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the river, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living.

But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Acts 2:40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” 41 Those who

accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

Unless you believe that I Am, you shall die in your sins.

And where I am going, you cannot come.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Don’t think lightly of the riches of His kindness and for-bearance and patience, for the kindness of God leads you to repentance.

And this prefigured baptism, which now saves you — not the washing off of physical dirt but the pledge of a good conscience to God — through the resurrection of Jesus Christ

1 Peter 3:21

Regard the patience of the Lord to be salvation.

Repent, and let each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.

Why do you delay? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins.

Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes

nor homosexual offenders 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.
