E-Safety is about ensuring that, through appropriate guidance, children learn to use new technologies in a way which will keep them safe without limiting their opportunities for creation and innovation.

• 57% of 9-19 yr olds have accidently come into contact with inappropriate content

• 4 in 10 students aged 9-19 trust most of the information on the internet.• 1/3 of young people have received unwanted sexual or nasty comments online.

Only 7% of parents think their child has received such comments.
