Elisa Finland launched world's first commercial WCDMA 900 MHz network (8 November 2007)

• WCDMA 900 network launched in 2 areas in southern Finland

• Target to cover 75% of Finns with 3G services at the beginning of 2008

• Data rates are at beginning up to 2 Mbps and 2008 planned to be increased close to 10 Mbps
