Over the next few weeks Voluntary Action Angus will be undertaking a consultation with organisations across Angus to ensure that our services are built across the needs of those who use them. As the Dev elopment Worker for Forfar/Kirriemuir and the Deans, this will also be an opportunity for me to meet with you and update you about the recent changes within Voluntary Action Angus. To ensure we can reach as many organisations as possible we will be arranging a number of drop in meetings where you can come to us if possible. We would be happy to come to you if this would be more convenient and meet individually. Alternatively, we can also send the consultation documents out electronically or by post for those who would rather fill this in independently. I would be grateful if you could let me know if you would like to arrange for us to visit you or send out the consultation document to you—I can be contacted by phone on 01307 466113 or email at [email protected]. ANGUS VOICE vacancy

Participation Development Officer (Job Share) To develop service user involvement for people with

mental health problems in Angus and to assist members to make the participation project sustainable going

forward.

Accountable to the Development Manager of Community Enterprise with support from the Chief Executive of

Community Enterprise - £26000 pro rata

Please see background information (attached). Angus Voice has been operating since April 2015 and is a well-respected initiative that is now a fledgling SCIO in its own right. There has been a full-time member of staff in post since that time. Due to the maturing of the project, we have decided to restructure this post as a job share to

diversify the capacity and skill set we have and to provide better peer support within the very small team.

In particular we are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, an efficient organiser and

someone who can help us build practical systems that will invest in the effectiveness of the project as it grows.

Please see attached files for more information.
