Healthcare – Crisis drives development

Costs are skyrocketing due too inefficiencies, closed systems and decentralized processes and fragmented application of ICT technology. WE Country example (NL):

– 12% of GDP today used for Healthcare, if nothing changes 18% in 2020

– In 2025 22% of working population is needed in healthcare if trends continues

– 2.5% of hospitalization due too avoidable medication errors costs 300 M€ a year (Institute Dutch Apothecary)

– 200.000 persons have chronically heart problems and increases with 10% per year.

– High complexity, high overhead, low efficient usage of capacity (beds – MRI scanners)
