• In 1995 FH JOANNEUM started with 4 degree programmes with a total of 150 students

• Today educates more then 3.500 Students in 3 locations.

• More than 800 persons are employed at FH JOANNEUM

Main activities of the Transfer Centre are:

JOBTOOL – Implementation Austria

1) Translation of 1st version

2) Demonstrations at labor market service and training providers

3) Intensive Feedback on the Material by experts

4) 1st Revision of the german material

5) Feedbackworkshop (incl. Bulgarian partners) and Feedback from Trainers

6) 2nd Revision of the german material „final“ version



JOBTOOL – Implementation Austria

7) Jobtool is included in 2 trainings and feedback is provided by pre-prepared Feedbackform (already received)

8) Jobtool was presented in a final „networking event“ including participants from R&D (universities, research), the chamber of commerce and training providers. First sustainability success, as an additional training provider agrees to try out an use of Jobtool in the future.

9) Translation of the final German version to English

-> Feebackreports are in German, English versions are in work at the moment.



JOBTOOL – Feedback results

1) Well received by most participants2) Good structure and overview3) New topics, which were not in use before

4) Would need more exercises, going deeper into the topics – too short

5) In the testing phase webpage was not always accessible and was not fully functional

6) Is not concrete enough in the area of „Jobsearching skills“

New ideas can be included in existing measures Didactic model can influence future products

But better refined and tested products available in Austria. Most training providers have material they have been refining for 10 years and more.
