It was about eighteen years ago when we listened to a friend of ours raving about a meeting she had attended where they talked about the AIM products as if they were the some kind of a miracle from heaven. By this time in life, we had become old hands at network marketing but couldn’t ever seem to find the right product or a company with ethics that would stand the test of time. Sure, we had made some serious money by our standards, but our trust level for the companies we worked for just wasn’t there.

After we attended a couple of AIM meetings, we decided to give it a go. We enrolled. Short of accepting Christ in our lives, this was without question the wisest thing we’ve ever done. Our life has never been the same, and it has been all for our good.

If you have good news, it must be shared, and the sooner the better. At our earliest opportunity, we went to Ohio and shared our excitement with my sister Charlotte and her husband Keith Thompson. Like any family, they had some health challenges and were willing to see how they might receive some of these benefits. As the slogan says, it’s “Nutrition that works!” Like us, they were not looking for a business; they were looking for something to

change their lives. It was like starting a small fire and they threw gasoline all over it, and the news of AIM and its products spread like

a wildfire in that area and beyond. As for them, they still continue to stoke the flames.

Since that time, we have been able to share these products and their benefits with countless numbers of folk whose lives have been literally changed forever. We have learned that the human body

is a marvelous creation and will respond to and heal itself when given nature’s best foods.

We take no credit for any person being born; however, after Marlene shared some dietary changes along with the AIM products with young ladies who had been married a number of years; they were now able to conceive when they thought it wasn’t possible. For this we give all the credit to our Creator and thank Him for allowing us to be a conduit.

AIM hasn’t made us wealthy, but it sure has made life a lot more comfortable. All one need do is to use the products and share it with others. It will change lives! Then you and your recipient will be able to live out your God-given purpose.

Main Feature

A recent study found that people tended to identify the “seat of their selves” as either residing in their hearts or their brains. And as you may already suspect, people who self-identified as emotional and sympathetic felt their essences resided in their hearts and those who self-identified as logical and rational thought their essences were brain-bound.

What’s most striking about these findings is that the two organs associated with self-identity are the same ones that are most affected by the ravages of the aging process. As we get older, arteries may harden, and our brains can undergo a slow, age-related decline. To say that this is a frightening prospect is an understatement. The good news is that there is AIM BarleyLife. It’s chock-full of vitamins and minerals that benefit both the heart and the brain.

For example, research by the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology that looked at nearly 1,000 adults and their eating habits for over a decade found that test subjects who ate one or two servings of leafy green vegetables per day had the mental faculties of someone a decade younger than those who consumed none.

The researchers accredit these health benefits to the vitamin K, lutein, folate and beta-carotene content found in leafy green vegetables. While most of these nutrients have

been linked to cognitive health before, this is the first study in history that looked for both and found a link between vitamin K and brain health. BarleyLife contains 10% of your daily folate needs and 100% of vitamin K.

As far as heart health goes, a study published in April 2015 in the Journal of Clinical Nutrition examined the mortality rates of chronic kidney disease (CKD) sufferers. The most common cause of death for people with CKD is cardiovascular disease due to increased arterial calcification. By analyzing data in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, scientists were able to determine that those CKD patients who consumed adequate amounts of vitamin K were less likely to die and significantly less likely to die from cardiovascular disease. Previous studies have also linked vitamin K to a reduction in arterial calcification.

It doesn’t matter whether you identify with your heart or your brain, drinking BarleyLife is a boon to both. It’s a smart decision that will leave you feeling good.

A Testimony 17 Years in the MakingMy experience with AIM products began with AIM BarleyLife® and AIM Herbal Fi ber-blend®. A friend sent me a jar of BarleyLife after my second stay in the hospital with

pneumonia. At that time I took the gift as an answer to prayer. When I left the hospital, I asked my doctor if there was something I could do to boost my immune system. He looked at me with a blank stare and said a flat out, “no, there was nothing different I could do.” I’m no doctor, but even I knew better than that.

That was 17 years ago, and, ever since, I doubt if I have missed a daily serving of BarleyLife more than once or twice. Immediately after getting over pneumonia, I went one year on a strict vegetarian diet and then gradually eased back into what I would call a “better-than-average” diet. A LOT of air/blood pumping through your lungs and body. This morning, we did a workout named “Karen” which is 150 wall-ball shots with a 20 lb. ball at a height of 10 feet. I was able to complete this workout 51 seconds faster than the last time I did it only last June. This is the main reason I was inspired to send you my testimony today.

Last year, I competed in my first CrossFit Open and finished in 2695th place. In the 2015 Open, I finished 315th out of 8,449 men in my age group of 45-49 years old. Only the top 200 Masters athletes move on to the next stage, so I just missed out on that opportunity. Next year my goal is

to definitely make the top 200. This goal is attainable with the right training and nutrition.

I feel my testimony con-cerning AIM products is valuable because of the proven time frame in which I have used the products. I believe the use of AIM products sustained me during my inactive years. I believe BarleyLife also contributes greatly to the fact that I am rarely sore after grueling workouts (most of the younger people cannot believe it). Red Rush greatly enhances my cardio and BarleyLife aids in quick recovery. At our CrossFit Pos-tal in Boone, North Carolina

where I train, they call me the fittest pastor in North Carolina.

This October will mark my 25th year in ministry. I am very grateful for all the Lord has blessed me and my family with.

4th Annual Raw Truth Wellness Morning

Leré Robinson, AIM Star Sapphire Director, was one of the keynote speakers at the Raw Truth Wellness Morning. This year’s theme was ‘A Symphony of Colors, Textures, and Flavors for the Health-Conscious

Palate.’ People were excited about the AIM products and all of the practical, healthy-living tips that were shared by all who spoke. Two hundred and forty people were in attendance! The AIM Companies provided print materials and door prizes.

Health, Sports & Lifestyle ExpoApril 30 – May 2 l Vancouver, BC

Rev. Mitch Clarke (AIM Group Builder) and his daughter Ashley joined the AIM Canada staff under the Red Rush canopy for the expo that launched the BMO Vancouver Marathon weekend. Nearly 15,000 runners registered and 44,000 visitors attended during the three-day event. The winner of the AIM prize draw ($110.00 retail value) was Ged Ashton, a runner from North Vancouver.

Lew Hollander Completes IronMan 70.3 BoiseOn June 13, 2015, Lew Hollander (AIM Member and Red Rush athlete) completed the IronMan 70.3 in Boise, Idaho. The competition consists of a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride and a 13.1-mile run, totalling 70.3 miles. Lew is 85 and there were no other competitors

in his age group (85 – 89), meaning he was the oldest person competing. Lew plans to race in the Ironman World

Championship, a 140.6-mile journey, in Hawaii this October. And Red Rush will be helping Lew to go the distance.

Formerly a professional cyclist, Kai’s career as co-captain of the Exergy racing team came to an abrupt halt in 2012 after the front wheel of his bike detached and

he was flung face first into the asphalt. It took months for him to recover, and he wasn’t sure if he’d ride anymore. Kai took up the much safer running for a very short while, but when he got back on a bike, he was hooked all over again.

Founded in 2012, the Mercedes Benz p/b George’s team has accumulated over one hundred podium finishes and six state titles in that relatively short time. Kai credits organization as the key to the team’s success. Cyclists and cycling in general, tend to be individualistic, so when forming his team, Kai wanted to focus on planning, preparation and teamwork while downplaying those individualistic aspects.

“The thing I like about my team is that they all have their own businesses or they’re high-level CEOs. They’re good at cycling because they do everything with the same purpose. When they show up to a race, their bike is clean, adjusted and ready to go. They behave the way you’d imagine adults would behave,” Kai said.

Cycling strategy is deceptively complex and teamwork is of paramount importance. It seems like the strongest guy should win every race, but wind, terrain and psychology all play factors. It’s why you see cyclists riding in formation like migrating birds. They’re drafting. It’s a way to block and manipulate air currents so that the team’s “best” rider, i.e., their sprinter (fast rider) or their climber (good at hills), is fresh for the final stretch. advantage and will break away from the pack or “go on the attack.” That’s exactly how Kai and his team won a race earlier this spring.

“I had three teammates with me, so I attacked and nobody chased me. It was a total psychology thing. The other guys in the group could have tried to pull me back, but they knew that my teammates would have attacked. So they didn’t chase me down,” Kai said.
