17 Edgar married Rose Eugenia Penny Stevens Rials. Theirchildren were Dorothy [Lindgren], Richard,
Walter, and Leonard. In 1948 Edgar published a book of poetry called "Golo", the story of a native
African raised among baboons who becomes the leader of the colonization of Liberia.
18 An interesting side note fordescendants of Claude Palmer and Eugene Ford; in that year Eugene wasmaking his living as a designer of business machines.
