iPad iMovieiMovie helps you turn the HD video you shoot on your iOS device into a thrilling trailer or masterpiece worthy of the red carpet (even if itʼs just the one in your living room). And since iMovie is designed for Multi-Touch, all you have to do is tap, swipe, and drag to make some movie magic.

Tap here to rename your movie project.

Tap here to create a new movie project.

Play your project at full screen. This will give you an option to optimise the video first.

Tap here to share/export your project.

Tap here to import from iTunes.

Tap here to delete your project.

Tap your project to open and edit.

All video files you have stored in your camera roll will appear here for you to add to your project.

To add a clip simply tap once and then tap again.

The clip will then be added to the timeline below.

The red line on the timeline below is the playhead. What ever point it is over in the footage is what will show in the view screen.

Tap the play button to play the timeline from what point the playhead is at.

Tap a video clip in the timeline to activate the editing handles.

Drag the handles from both sides to edit where the footage starts and ends.

Double tap a clip to activate the settings menu.

In the clip settings you can edit the Title style, the volume or delete the clip.

To edit the text in a title you must tap the text space in the view screen.

Then a keyboard will appear so you can edit the text.

A X will also appear so you can delete the text box.

There are also other features in this menu to explore.

The cog in the top right corner shows the Project Settings.

Here you can edit theme which effects the type of text titles that appear.

There are three media menus. Video, photos and music.

There are multiple folders to navigate through to find files you can use in your movie.

Tap to add the file you want. Be aware that the location of the playhead will indicate where the file will be aded in the timeline.

Return to the main menu. Undo

Record audio or video directly.

See the audio track of video clips.
