Interesting Facts about YachtsThe term Yacht is originated from the Dutch Jacht meaning Hunt.Yachts are light, fast sailing vessels, first used by Dutch Navy to chase down pirates.Charles II of England selected this vessel for personal traveling in 1660and since then, yachts have become symbol of importance and affluence.

A Yacht can range from 12 meters (39 ft) up-to dozens of meters (hundreds of feet).The craft smaller than 12 meters (39ft) is a Cabin Cruiser. A yacht above 24 meters (79ft) is a Super YachtA Yacht over 50 meters (164 ft) is a Mega Yacht.
