    END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

    READ THIS END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (AGREEMENT)BEFORE DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE SOFTWARE.BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING,OR USING THE SOFTWARE OR OTHERWISE EXPRESSING YOUR AGREEMENT TOTHE TERMSCONTAINED HEREIN, YOU (AS CUSTOMER OR IF YOU ARE NOT THECUSTOMER, AS A REPRESENTATIVE/AGENT AUTHORIZED TOBIND THECUSTOMER) CONSENT TOBE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT. IFYOU DO NOT OR CANNOT AGREE TOTHE TERMS CONTAINEDHEREIN, THEN (A) DO NOT DOWNLOAD, INSTALL, OR USE THESOFTWARE,AND (B) YOU MAY CONTACT JUNIPER NETWORKSREGARDING LICENSETERMS.

    1. The Parties. The parties to this Agreementare (i)Juniper Networks, Inc. (if theCustomers principal officeis located in the Americas) orJuniperNetworks(Cayman)Limited (ifthe Customers principaloffice is located outside theAmericas)(suchapplicable entity beingreferredtohereinas Juniper), and(ii) thepersonor organizationthatoriginally purchased from Juniperor an authorizedJuniperresellerthe applicablelicense(s) foruse of the Software(Customer) (collectively, the Parties).

    2. The Software. In this Agreement, Software means the program modules and features of theJuniper or Juniper-supplied software, forwhich Customerhas paidthe applicablelicense or support fees to Juniper or an authorized Juniper reseller, or which was embedded byJuniper in equipment which Customerpurchasedfrom Juniper or an authorized Juniper reseller. Software also includes updates, upgradesand new releases of such software. Embedded Software means Software which Juniperhas embedded in or loaded onto the Juniperequipment and any updates, upgrades, additions or replacements which are subsequently embedded in or loaded onto theequipment.

    3. License Grant. Subject topayment of theapplicablefees and the limitationsand restrictionssetforth herein, Juniper grants toCustomera non-exclusive and non-transferable license, without right to sublicense, to usethe Software, in executable form only,subject to thefollowinguse restrictions:

    a. Customershall useEmbedded Software solely as embedded in, and for execution on, Juniper equipment originally purchased byCustomer fromJuniper or an authorized Juniper reseller.

    b. Customer shall usethe Software on a single hardware chassis having a single processing unit, or as many chassis or processing unitsfor which Customer haspaid the applicable license fees;provided, however, with respect to theSteel-Belted Radius or Odyssey AccessClient software only,Customershall usesuch Software on a single computer containing a single physical random accessmemory spaceand containing any numberof processors. Use of the Steel-Belted Radius or IMS AAA software on multiple computers or virtual machines(e.g., Solaris zones) requiresmultiple licenses, regardless of whether such computers or virtualizations are physically contained on a singlechassis.

    c. Product purchase documents, paper or electronic userdocumentation, and/or the particular licenses purchased by Customer may

    specify limits toCustomersuse ofthe Software.Suchlimitsmay restrictuse toa maximumnumber of seats,registered endpoints,concurrentusers, sessions, calls, connections, subscribers, clusters, nodes, realms, devices, links, portsor transactions, or require the purchase ofseparate licenses to use particular features, functionalities, services, applications, operations, or capabilities, or provide throughput,performance, configuration, bandwidth, interface, processing, temporal, or geographical limits. In addition, such limitsmay restrict the useof theSoftware to managing certain kinds of networksor require the Software to be used only in conjunctionwith other specific Software.Customers useof the Software shall be subject to all such limitations and purchase of all applicablelicenses.

    d. Forany trial copy of theSoftware, Customers right to usethe Software expires 30 days afterdownload, installation or useof theSoftware. Customer mayoperate the Softwareafter the 30-day trial period only if Customer pays for a license to do so.Customer may notextend or create an additional trial period by re-installing the Softwareafter the 30-day trial period.

    e. The Global Enterprise Editionof the Steel-Belted Radius software may be used by Customer only to manage access to Customersenterprisenetwork.Specifically, service provider customers are expressly prohibited fromusing the Global Enterprise Edition of theSteel-Belted Radiussoftware to support any commercialnetwork access services.

    The foregoing license is nottransferableor assignable by Customer. No license is granted herein toany user whodid notoriginally purchasethe applicable license(s) for the Software from Juniper or an authorized Juniper reseller.

    4. Use Prohibitions. Notwithstanding theforegoing, the license provided herein does not permit the Customer to, and Customer agreesnot to and shall not: (a)modify, unbundle, reverseengineer, or create derivative works based on theSoftware; (b)make unauthorizedcopies of the Software (except as necessary for backup purposes); (c)rent,sell, transfer, or grant any rights in and to any copy of theSoftware, in anyform, toany thirdparty; (d)removeany proprietarynotices,labels,or markson orin anycopyof theSoftware orany productin which the Software is embedded; (e) distribute any copy of theSoftware to anythird party, including as may be embedded in Juniperequipmentsold in thesecondhand market;(f) useany lockedor key-restricted feature, function,service, application, operation, orcapabilitywithout first purchasing the applicable license(s) and obtaining a valid key from Juniper,even if such feature, function, service, application,operation, or capability is enabled without a key; (g)distribute any key for theSoftware provided by Juniper to anythird party; (h)use the

    Software in any manner that extends or is broader than the uses purchasedby Customer from Juniper or an authorized Juniper reseller; (i)useEmbedded Softwareon non-Juniper equipment; (j) useEmbedded Software (or make it available for use) on Juniper equipment thatthe Customer did notoriginally purchase from Juniper or an authorized Juniper reseller; (k)disclosethe results of testing or benchmarkingof theSoftwareto anythirdpartywithout thepriorwritten consent of Juniper; or (l)use theSoftwarein anymanner other than asexpresslyprovided herein.

    5. Audit. Customershall maintain accurate records as necessary to verify compliance with this Agreement. Upon request by Juniper,Customer shall furnish such records to Juniperand certify its compliancewith this Agreement.

    6. Confidentiality. The Parties agree that aspects of the Software and associated documentation arethe confidential property of Juniper.As such,Customershall exerciseall reasonable commercialeffortsto maintain the Softwareand associated documentation in confidence,which ata minimumincludesrestricting access to theSoftware toCustomeremployees andcontractorshaving a need to usethe Softwarefor Customers internal business purposes.

    7. Ownership. Juniperand Junipers licensors, respectively, retain ownership of all right, title, and interest(including copyright) in and tothe Software, associated documentation, and all copiesof the Software. Nothing in thisAgreement constitutes a transfer or conveyanceof anyright,title, or interestin theSoftwareor associated documentation, or a sale of the Software, associated documentation, or copiesof the Software.

    8. Warranty, Limitation of Liability, Disclaimer of Warranty. Thewarranty applicableto theSoftwareshall be as setforthin the warranty

    statementthat accompanies theSoftware(theWarrantyStatement).Nothingin thisAgreement shallgive riseto anyobligation tosupportthe Software. Support services may be purchased separately. Any such support shall be governed by a separate, written support servicesagreement. TOTHE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JUNIPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA,ORCOSTSORPROCUREMENTOFSUBSTITUTEGOODSORSERVICES,ORFORANYSPECIAL,INDIRECT,ORCONSEQUENTIALDAMAGESARISINGOUTOF THISAGREEMENT, THESOFTWARE,OR ANYJUNIPEROR JUNIPER-SUPPLIED SOFTWARE.IN NOEVENT SHALLJUNIPERBE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES ARISINGFROM UNAUTHORIZED OR IMPROPER USE OF ANY JUNIPER OR JUNIPER-SUPPLIED SOFTWARE.EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THE WARRANTY STATEMENT TO THE EXTENTPERMITTED BY LAW, JUNIPER DISCLAIMS ANYAND ALL WARRANTIES IN AND TOTHE SOFTWARE (WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE), INCLUDING ANYIMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT DOESJUNIPER WARRANT THAT THESOFTWARE,OR ANY EQUIPMENT OR NETWORK RUNNING THE SOFTWARE,WILL OPERATE WITHOUTERROR OR INTERRUPTION, OR WILL BE FREE OF VULNERABILITY TOINTRUSION OR ATTACK. In no eventshall Junipersor itssuppliersor licensors liability to Customer, whether in contract, tort (includingnegligence), breach of warranty, or otherwise, exceed theprice paidby Customer for the Software that gave rise to theclaim,or if theSoftwareis embedded in another Juniper product, the price paid byCustomer for such other product. Customeracknowledges and agreesthat Juniper hasset its prices and entered into this Agreementinreliance upon the disclaimers of warranty and thelimitations of liability setforthherein, that the same reflectan allocation of risk between

    the Parties (includingthe risk that a contractremedy may fail of its essential purpose and cause consequential loss), and that the sameform an essential basis of thebargain between the Parties.

    9. Termination. Any breachof this Agreement or failure by Customerto payany applicablefeesdue shall result in automatic terminationof thelicense granted herein. Upon such termination, Customer shall destroy or return to Juniper all copies of theSoftwareand relateddocumentation in Customers possession or control.

    10. Taxes. All license fees payable under this agreement are exclusive of tax. Customer shall be responsiblefor paying Taxes arisingfromthepurchaseof thelicense,or importation or useof theSoftware. If applicable, valid exemption documentation for each taxingjurisdictionshall be provided to Juniper prior to invoicing, and Customer shall promptly notify Juniper if their exemption is revoked or modified. Allpayments made by Customershall be netof any applicablewithholding tax. Customer willprovide reasonable assistance to Juniper inconnection withsuch withholding taxes by promptly: providing Juniper with valid taxreceipts and other required documentation showingCustomers payment of any withholding taxes; completingappropriate applications that would reduce the amountof withholding taxtobe paid; and notifying and assisting Juniper in any audit or taxproceeding related to transactions hereunder. Customer shall complywithall applicabletax laws and regulations, and Customer will promptly pay or reimburseJuniper for all costs and damages relatedto anyliability incurred by Juniper as a result of Customers non-compliance or delay withits responsibilities herein. Customers obligations underthis Section shall survive termination or expiration of thisAgreement.

    11. Export. Customeragrees to complywith all applicableexport laws and restrictions and regulations of any United States and anyapplicableforeign agency or authority, and notto export or re-export theSoftwareor any direct product thereof in violation of any suchrestrictions, laws or regulations, or withoutall necessary approvals. Customer shall be liablefor any such violations. The version of theSoftware supplied to Customer maycontain encryption or other capabilities restricting Customers ability to exportthe Softwarewithoutan export license.

    12. Commercial Computer Software. The Software is commercial computer software and is provided withrestricted rights. Use,duplication, or disclosure by the United States government is subject to restrictions setforthin this Agreement and as provided in DFARS227.7201 through 227.7202-4, FAR12.212, FAR27.405(b)(2), FAR 52.227-19, or FAR52.227-14(ALT III) as applicable.

    13. Interface Information. To the extent required by applicable law,and at Customer's written request, Juniper shall provideCustomerwith the interface information needed to achieve interoperabilitybetween the Softwareand another independently created program, onpayment of applicablefee,if any. Customershall observe strictobligationsof confidentialitywith respect to such information and shall usesuch information in compliance with anyapplicable terms and conditions upon which Juniper makes such information available.

    14. Third Party Software. Anylicensorof Juniper whose softwareis embedded in theSoftware andany supplier ofJuniper whose productsor technology areembedded in (or services are accessed by)the Softwareshallbe a third party beneficiary with respect tothis Agreement,andsuch licensor orvendor shall have therightto enforcethis Agreementin itsown name asif it were Juniper.In addition, certain third partysoftware maybe provided with the Softwareand is subject to the accompanying license(s), if any, of itsrespective owner(s). To the extentportions of theSoftwareare distributed under and subject to open source licenses obligatingJuniper to make thesource code forsuchportions publicly available (such as the GNU General Public License (GPL) or the GNU Library General Public License (LGPL)), Juniperwillmake such source code portions (includingJuniper modifications, as appropriate) available upon request for a period of up to threeyearsfrom the date of distribution. Such request canbe madein writing to Juniper Networks, Inc., 1194 N. Mathilda Ave., Sunnyvale, CA94089, ATTN: General Counsel. You mayobtaina copy of theGPL at http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html , and a copyof the LGPLat http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.html .

    15. Miscellaneous. This Agreement shall be governed by thelaws of the State of California without referenceto its conflictsof lawsprinciples. Theprovisions of the U.N. Convention for the International Sale of Goods shall notapply to this Agreement. Forany disputesarising under this Agreement, theParties hereby consent to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of, and venue in, thestate and federalcourts withinSantaClara County,California. ThisAgreementconstitutes the entire and soleagreement between Juniper and the Customerwith respect to the Software, and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements relating to the Software, whether oral or written(including any inconsistentterms contained in a purchase order), except that the terms of a separate written agreement executed by anauthorized Juniper representative and Customer shall govern to the extent such terms are inconsistentor conflict with terms containedherein. No modification to this Agreementnor anywaiver of any rights hereunder shall be effective unlessexpressly assentedto in writingby the party to be charged.If any portion of thisAgreement is held invalid, theParties agree that such invalidity shall not affect the validityof theremainder of this Agreement. This Agreement and associated documentation hasbeen written in the English language, and theParties agree that the Englishversion willgovern.     EX3200 Switches Hardware Overview

    Juniper Networks EX Series Ethernet Switches provide scalable connectivity for theenterprise market, including branch offices, campus locations, and data centers. Theswitches run the Juniper Networks Junos operating system (Junos OS), which providesLayer 2 and Layer 3 switching, routing, and security services. The same Junos OS codebase thatruns on EX Series switches also runs on all Juniper Networks J Series, M Series,MX Series, and T Series routers.

    EX3200 Switches

    Juniper Networks EX3200 Ethernet Switches provide connectivity for low-densityenvironments. Typically, you deploy these switches in branch environments or wiringclosets where only one switch is required.

    EX3200 switches are available in models with either 24 or 48 ports and with either all

    ports equipped for Power over Ethernet (PoE) or only 8 ports equipped for PoE. EX3200switches with a DC power supply installed do not provide PoE. All models provide portsthathave 10/100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet connectors and optional 1-gigabit smallform-factor pluggable(SFP) transceivers,10-gigabit small form-factor pluggable(SFP+)transceivers, or 10-gigabit small form-factor pluggable (XFP) transceivers for use withfiber connections.

    EX3200 switches include:

    A field-replaceable power supply and an optional additionalconnection to an externalpower source.

    A field-replaceable fan tray with single fan.

    Junos OS with its modular design that enables failed system processes to gracefullyrestart.

    EX3200 switches have these features:

    Have options of 24-port and 48-port models

    Have options of full (all ports)or partial (8ports)PoweroverEthernet(PoE) capability

    Have optional uplink modules that provide connection to distribution switches

    Uplink Modules

    Optional uplink modules are available for all EX3200 switches. Uplink modules providetwo 10-gigabit small form-factor pluggable (XFP) transceivers, four 1-gigabit smallform-factor pluggable (SFP)transceivers, or two10-gigabit small form-factor pluggable(SFP+) transceivers. You can use XFP, SFP, or SFP+ ports to connect an access switchto a distribution switch.

    Power over Ethernet (PoE) Ports

    PoE portsprovide electrical current todevices through thenetworkcablesso that separatepowercords for devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, and security camerasare unnecessary. EX3200 switches with an AC power supply installed have options offull (all 24 or 48 ports) or partial (8 ports) PoE capability. EX3200 switches with a DC

    power supply installed do not provide PoE.Full PoE models are primarily used in IP telephony environments. Partial PoE models areused in environments where, for example, only a few ports for wireless access points orsecurity cameras are required.

    LCD Panel in EX3200 Switches

    The LCD panel on the front panel of the switchshows two lines of text, eacha maximumof 16 characters in length. The LCD panel displays a variety of information about theswitch and also provides a menu to perform basic operations such as initial setup andreboot.

    There are two navigation buttons Menu and Enter to the right of the LCD panel.

    You can configure the second line of the LCD panel to display a custom message. If theLCD panel is configured to display a custom message, the Menu button and the Enterbuttonaredisabled.See Configuring theLCDPanelonEXSeriesSwitches(CLI Procedure).

    TheLCD panel has a backlight. If theLCD panel is idle for 60 seconds, thebacklight turnsoff. Youcan turn on thebacklight bypressingthe Menu or Enter button once. After turningon the backlight, you can toggle between the LCD panel menus by pressing the Menubutton and navigate through the menu options by pressing the Enter button.

    NOTE: Thechassisviewerin theJ-Web interfacealsodisplays theLCD panel.From the J-Web interface, youcan view real-time status information in theLCD panel. See Dashboard forEX Series Switches.

    LCD Panel Modes

    The LCD panel operates in four modes: boot, idle, status, and maintenance.

    TheLCD panel operates in boot mode duringswitch reboot. Theboot mode displays thekey milestones in the switch boot process. The boot mode does not have any menuoptions. After the boot process is complete, the LCD panel automatically reverts to theIdle menu.

    In an EX3200 switch, the first line of the LCD panel displays the hostname.

    In the idle mode, thesecondline displays themode of thenetwork ports Status LEDandthe number of chassis alarms. The number of alarms is updated every second.

    In the status mode, the second line displays:

    Status of the power supply

    Status of the fan and temperature

    Version of Junos OS for EX Series switches loaded on the switch

    In the maintenance mode, the secondline displays one of the following options that youcan use to configure and troubleshoot the switch:

    System halt

    System reboot

    Load rescue

    Factory default

    System EZSetup

    LCD Panel Menus

    Field-Replaceable Units in EX3200 Switches

    Field-replaceable units (FRUs) are components that you can replace at your site. TheFRUs in the switch are:

    Power supply

    Fan tray

    Uplink module

    SFP transceiver

    SFP+ transceiver

    XFP transceiver

    NOTE: Uplink modules are not part of the standard package and must beordered separately.

    The power supply, fan tray, uplink module, and transceivers are hot-removable andhot-insertable: You can remove and replace them without powering off the switch ordisrupting switch functions.

    NOTE: If you have a Juniper J-Care service contract, register any addition,change, or upgrade of hardware components at https://www.juniper.net/customers/csc/management/updateinstallbase.jsp . Failure todo so can resultinsignificant delays if you need replacement parts. This note applies if youchangethe type of power supplyor add a new type of uplink module.     Chassis Status LEDs in EX3200 Switches

    The front panel of an EX3200 switch has three LEDs on the far right side of the panel,next to the LCD panel (see Figure 5 on page 17 ).

    Table 5 on page 17 describes the chassis status LEDs in an EX3200 switch, their colorsand states, and the status they indicate. You can view the colors of the three LEDsremotely through the CLI by issuing the operational mode command show chassis lcd.

    A minor alarm (amber) indicates a noncritical condition that requires monitoring ormaintenance. A minor alarm that is left unchecked might cause interruption in service orperformance degradation.

    NOTE: The amberglowof theAlarm LEDthatindicates a minoralarmcloselyresembles the redglow that indicates a major alarm.

    All three LEDs can be lit simultaneously.
