Sew an orange damask 2½” strip to a black stars 2½” strip. Cut the strips into 2½” segments. Sew the segments together to create 4 Corner Posts.

Referring to diagram, sew a large clean white triangle to each side of Unit A to create Unit B. Repeat to make 28 Unit Bs.

Sew 1 large clean white triangle and 2 small clean white tri-angles Unit A to create Unit C. Repeat to make 8 Unit Cs. Sew 7 Unit Bs together with a Unit C on each end to create a border. Repeat to make 4 borders. Referring to quilt photo for placement, sew a Corner Post to each end of 2 of the borders to create the top and bottom borders.

BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Sew 1½”strips together end to end. Side borders should be 33½”. Top and bottom borders should be 35½”.

Border 2Sew sides to quilt center first. (These are the rows without the corner posts.) Sew the 2 remaining rows with the corner posts to the top and bottom of the quilt.

Border 3Sew 1½” strips together end to end. Side borders should be 43½”. Top and bottom borders should be 45½”.

Border 4Sew 4½”strips together end to end. Side borders should be 45½”. Top and bottom borders should be 53½”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Trick or Treat Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.

Cut squares twice diagonally to make 64 large triangles.Cut 8 squares 2 7/8” x 2 7/8” from clean white (C100-01 Clean White). Cut squares once diagonally to make 16 small triangles.

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to quilt photo for placement of panel and borders.

Border 2Sew an orange damask 1 7/8” strip to a black stars 1 7/8” strip. Repeat with the remaining orange damask and black stars 1 7/8” strips. Cut the strips into 1 7/8” segments. Sew the segments together to create 36 of Unit A.
