INTRODUCTION

WE CAN SUMMARIZE WHAT'S IN THIS VIDEO IN SEVERAL

POINTS : SUCH AS ?U Seek the help from the debate, which was during the last lecture U

LET'S START WITH THE KEYWORDS:

Information and communications technology (ICT )

Technology Integration

Experience

Factors Affecting Technology Use“For Teachers"1

Understanding of Curriculum : helps him to choose the right tool from technology tools to get his instructional goals with his students .

The role of this technology at the classroom ( main-role, as an activity or as an application )

Page 7: Final presentation1

Factors Affecting Technology Use“For Teachers"1

The experience: has it got any effect? as seen :

- The more of teacher experience goes, almost less his curiosity in technology integration.

- The years of teacher duty doesn't necessary express the experience that he has had.

Factors Affecting Technology Use“For Teachers"1

The educational Environment :

- In city or village.

- Support.

Training: " We will connect it with our second point ".

Formal and Informal Learning

When we talking about informal learning

we means ( tutorial, training

courses, from a friend or using any

knowledge resources… )

3

Page 11: Final presentation1

*we grown up with regular homework ( mention, name, what …) we

repeat the same ideas that came on the class .. nothing more

The same problem in our culture as seen (when anyone tell you an

information do you pother yourself check on it? Is it true ?)

So we need to teach our students how to look for the information ? and

where ? and improve their "search skills"

Page 12: Final presentation1

We want the teacher to give an

open Q.

and defined the sources that he

sure about,

courage him to discover and

Criticize

the information which he collect.

Page 13: Final presentation1

"teachers purposes"

Some of them are using

technology for a change, as a tools

for searching and doing projects ,

as a source….

Or just a decoration ( to please the

supervisor ….)

Approaches towards educational technology use4

Page 14: Final presentation1

Here we must be sure that

we integrate not just add

technology

in our course plan.

5-Relevance of the findings

and further research

Page 16: Final presentation1

Relevance of the findings and further research

When we do our research on

primary education, we cannot

simply generalize the results to

other educational levels.

In future studies, researchers might

wish to collect long-term in-depth

information through observations

and/or interviews in different parts

of the world to help develop the

findings of this study.

5

Page 17: Final presentation1

Relevance of the findings and further research

As technology continues to

drive changes in society and

in education, we contend that

local school policies need to

define their organizational

vision and actions more

clearly in view of planned

change.

Page 18: Final presentation1

Relevance of the findings and further research

Commitment : as we heard about many projects in our

ministry of education then gone without any explanation

I believe that all those projects are related to

"personal achievement"

5

Page 19: Final presentation1

Relevance of the findings and further research

It means that every project connected with some person if he

leave the ministry for any reason the project go with him!!

There isn’t any commitment from the ministry it-self , or any

serious researches "before – with – after" these projects

( I insist using the word "any" While we should use "enough" )!!!

Review & summary

At last let's take a look on this experiment of some Kuwaiti teacher

which the ministry of education in Kuwait encouraged it and in her way

to do all the other Curriculum in the same way.

Page 21: Final presentation1

I'm not trying to detraction our teachers

I've seen many successful experiments

Of technology integration

At their best , they get some thanking

certificate !!
