Comfort right from the control. Thought-out down to the very last detail. All the functions of the SensoWash® Starck are operated by remote control. Starting with the motor-operated toilet lid and toilet seat that opens and closes on command. The heated toilet seat feels pleasant to the touch and its temperature can be individually controlled. A sensor makes sure that it doesn’t get too hot. After using the toilet, simply select the desired function – Rearwash, Comfort-wash or Ladywash – and enjoy the pleasant cleaning with warm water. This is followed by a gentle fl ow of warm, drying air. Water temperature, water volume, nozzle position and drying temperature are all individually adjustable. For added convenience, personal preferences can be stored in two different user profi les. And even though the remote control is completely intuitive: for reassurance, the cradle contains a quick reference guide to the operating instructions – a particularly useful feature when SensoWash® Starck is used in hotels.

SensoWash® Starck is an invitation to feel good. Day and night. Whoever uses the toilet at night shouldn’t switch on the “normal” light because brightness causes the level of melatonin, the hormone that helps regulate sleep, to drop and set the body into waking mode. SensoWash® Starck is thus fitted with a special LED night-light function that provides orientation and safety when it’s dark without interrupting the body’s repose. The night-light function is operated by remote control. SensoWash® Starck is packed full of other good ideas that make life in the bathroom easier, too! The remote control features large buttons and clearly legible symbols that are easy to read and comprehend. Operation is intuitive and straightforward. Once selected, each function can be stopped immediately using the clearly visible Stop button. A user detection feature in the toilet seat prevents inadvertent use of the functions.

Durafi x-Set

SensoWash® Starck C – Instrucciones de montaje / Instructions for assembly

A.1. Durante la fase de obra se monta el kit de preinstalación. Está compuesto por una placa de montaje exacta, material de montaje, manguitos de 1/2 “, hoja de datos de preinstalación e ins-trucciones de montaje.

El kit se adapta a todos los elementos empotra-dos habituales (n.º de pedido # 0050720000).

A.1. The pre-installation set is fi tted during the shell phase. It consists of a precision fi xing plate, assembly materials, 1/2“ fi tting, pre-installation datasheet and assembly instructions.

The set is tailored to all standard frame systems. (order no. # 0050720000).

A.2. Las piezas del kit de preinstalación se mon-tan en el bastidor empotrado. Gracias a la rosca interior de 1/2 “ puede efectuarse la conexión a la red de agua sin problemas.

A.2. The parts of the pre-installation set are fi t-ted to the frame system. The universal 1/2“ inter-nal thread allows it to be easily connected to the cold water system.

A.3. El cable de corriente debe salir de la pared en el punto indicado en la hoja de preinstalación. Para que el montaje sea cómodo se requiere un cable con una longitud de 800 mm.

A.3. Lead the power cable through the point on the wall indicated in the pre-installation data-sheet. A cable length of 800 mm ensures easy assembly.

B.1. El volumen de suministro del inodoro incluye las fi jaciones Durafi x correspondientes (para el inodoro suspendido), la ayuda de montaje de cartón, el kit de conexión con todos los compo-nentes importantes y unas instrucciones de montaje detalladas.

B.1. The toilet is supplied with the relevant Durafi x quick fi ttings (for wall-mounted toilets), the cardboard fi tting guide, the connection set containing all major connection components and detailed assembly instructions.

B.2. La ayuda de montaje se coloca con la parte plana en el suelo y el inodoro suspendido se coloca encima al revés. De esta forma pueden montar con facilidad las fi jaciones Durafi x.

B.2. The fi tting guide is placed with the fl at side on the fl oor and the wall-mounted toilet is placed on it upside down. This makes it easy to fi t the Durafi x fi ttings.

B.3. El inodoro se gira de forma que el sifón vitri-fi cado quede suspendido y no pueda dañarse o averiarse. El codo de empalme de 1/2 “ se monta en la conexión de agua preparada del bastidor empotrado y la manguera de presión se fi ja me-diante tuerca de unión.

B.3. The toilet is inverted to leave the glazed waste trap surface exposed and not damaged or scratched. The 1/2“ connection bracket is fi tted to the prepared water connection on the frame element and the pressure hose is fi tted with a union nut.

B.4. El inodoro y la ayuda de montaje se colocan delante del bastidor empotrado. La manguera montada se pasa por el inodoro, se vuelve a sacar por la abertura izquierda y se fi ja mediante la su-jección de cartón.

B.4. Place the toilet and fi tting guide in front of the frame element. The hose, which has already been fi tted, is fed through the toilet, pulled out of the opening to the left and fixed using a card-board clip.

B.5. La conexión eléctrica (acoplamiento negro) se pasa por el inodoro y se fi ja en la parte supe-rior con la sujección de cartón. En los tornillos de doble rosca se montan los capuchones Durafi x, el inodoro se coloca sobre los tornillos con capu-chón y se fi ja por abajo.

B.5. The power connection (black connection) is fed through the toilet and fi xed at the top using a cardboard clip. The Durafi x metal adapters are fi tted to the hanging bolts, then the toilet is fi tted onto the hanging bolts and fi xed from below.

B.6. El cable de corriente de la pared se conecta a la caja de distribución en un terminal de bornes integrado. La caja de distribución se fi ja al inodo-ro mediante cinta de velcro. Su posición viene dada por las contrapiezas ya montadas en el ino-doro. De esta forma, la conexión de corriente es segura e invisible.

B.6. The power cable coming out of the wall is connected to a built-in terminal box in the cable box. Fix the cable box in the toilet with the Velcro. The other half of the Velcro is already fitted in the toilet to indicate the position. This means the power connection is safe and invisible.

C.1. La placa de montaje se fi ja en el inodoro. En la parte inferior del asiento están los compo-nentes de conexión premontados para agua y corriente. Las juntas de goma evitan que durante la limpieza pueda entrar agua en el interior de la pieza cerámica.

C.1. Fit the mounting plate on the toilet. The pre-fi tted water and electrical connection compo-nents can be found on the underside of the toilet seat. There are rubber seals to protect against, for example, cleaning water penetrating the inside of the ceramics.

C.2. Los dos acoplamientos para la conexión eléc-trica se montan entre sí roscando. Para la alimen-tación de agua se conecta la válvula de bola con el asiento mediante una tuerca de unión. Tras un giro de 45° se abre la válvula y la conexión de agua está lista para funcionar.

C.2. Screw together the halves of the power con-nection coupling. For the water, connect the ball valve to the seat using a union nut. Turn the valve 45° to open and the water connection is ready.

C.3. El asiento para inodoro se encaja sobre la placa de montaje con un ángulo aproximado de 15°. Para la limpieza puede desmontarse el asiento apretando el pulsador lateral y levantán-dolo ligeramente para después volver a acoplarlo con facilidad.

C.3. Click the toilet seat into the fi tting plate at an angle of approx. 15° and you‘re ready. There is a button on the side to release the seat for cleaning, simply lift slightly and then click back in again.

Doblemente asegurado gracias a Probox. Para cumplir las exigencia legales de la norma DIN EN 1717 de proteger el agua de la red de ensuciamiento, Duravit ha desarrollado para SensoWash® un sistema de protección de dos vías. Por un lado dispone el asiento mismo de dos antiretornos integrados, uno en el tubo de conexión y otro en el empalme de conexión. En el caso inverosímil de una presión baja en la red pública del agua se evita así la aspiración de agua sucia. Por otro lado Duravit ofrece un dispositivo de seguridad adicional: la Probox. Esta se monta fuera del asiento directamente en la alimentación del agua fría de forma empotrada. El tubo de salida va directamente al asiento. De esta forma Duravit cumple todas las exigencias de seguridad que se puede exigir al producto y a pesar de que ninguna normativa de producto para asiento de lavado exige la integración de este dispositivo. La Probox da al profesional la seguridad que su instalación sobrepasa las exigencias legales con creces.

Double safety, thanks to Probox: in order to comply with the statutory requirements of DIN EN 1717 on the protection of drinking water from contamination, Duravit has developed a two-tier safety system for SensoWash®. First, the toilet seat has two built-in backfl ow preventers, one in the connection hose and one in the connection supports. In the unlikely event of low pressure in the drinking water system, backflow of contaminated water is prevented. Second, Duravit provides an additional safety device: the Probox. This is installed in the subfloor directly inside the cold water feed, outside the seat. The outlet line leads directly to the toilet seat. This way, Duravit fulfi lls all possible safety requirements that could be set for a product – even above and beyond current codes. The Probox also gives sanitation engineers the certainty that their installations more than satisfy legal requirements.
