Instructional Design & Storyboarding• Identify instructional designers. Criteria in determining right designer include:
o Experience in business sectoro Experience in chosen style of content productiono Proximity and availabilityo Storyboarding styles (e.g. Word, PowerPoint or specialist storyboard software)
• Make sure that the ID’s instructional goals support the strategy • Get feedback from subject matter expert (SME) to review and provide feedback

Identify content developer and chosen tools • Tools available include Flash, Articulate, Captivate, Lectora, Authorware and others• Compile narration script, identify voice overs arrange and direct recording session • Create the graphical user interface (GUI) and look and feel and make sure consistent with the storyboard and corporate guidelines • Get approval from stakeholders • Make sure all assets (e.g. such as images, photos, animations, characters ) are available and licensed• Author the courseware in the chosen tool

Quality Assurance• Test to ensure the quality of the courseware. • Normally there will be a minimum of two tests: Alpha, and Beta
o Courseware amended according to the feedback from the Alpha testo Course then reviewed by the stakeholders for Beta testing feedback from stakeholders before finalising the courseware. o Includes testing in the delivery environment
• Sign off and approval
