Ageing Workforce Retirement Ages between 50 – 69 in EU 35% of retired people receive a pension 87% of these receive a state old age pension
Ageing Workforce 16% of old age pensioners are still working
Ageing Workforce Transition from work to retirement is also linked to earnings
and employment rates
Ageing Workforce Majority of older people in work are working
part time and have high rates of job satisfaction
This includes volunteering, e.g: in Communities for Museums, Parks, Churches, Libraries, Charity Work, Caring for grandchildren or relatives.)
