The mission of the UT TeleCampus is to extend the reach of the UT System through the application of high-quality, student-centered Internet delivery to degree programs, academic courses, training, professional development, and college preparation. 

The UT TeleCampus adds value by assisting UT System institutions in expanding existing capacity, building new capacities, and preparing faculties to best teach in a technology-mediated environment.

Over 40,000 enrollments to date (approx. 4400 per long semester with 10%-12% growth annually)

Course Completion Rates: 89%-96%

Financial Impact of UTTC

Direct financial support to institutions for course development $200,000 in FY 06 Total over $5.5M (1999 – 2005)

Revenue generated for institutions by TeleCampus courses $11M in FY 06 Total over $47M (1999 – 2006) Estimate at least 60% of total is “new” dollars Institutions returned $730k to UTTC
