Who would be the audience for your media product?

From viewing my very own magazine that I created, you will be able to see the obvious that my magazine is targeted at youngsters from 18 years and onwards. My genre is based on grime/rap therefore a large population of the black males would be highly interested. Both my models have a huge interest in rap. They both keep up to date with the very well recognized magazine “VIBE” to keep up to date with what’s newly introduced by the rappers. I have chosen to take snaps of my audience, who come from afro-Caribbean backgrounds. The reason being is because they pay a huge interest in rap/grime, therefore this magazine relates to them. The type of music they listen to is rappers like “boy better know” “Vybz kartel” “Eminem” and so on.

They also attend their concert, which shows they are huge fans of grime/rap. From looking at their clothing, for example the baggy top wear, and bandana’s on the head shows how much these rappers inspire them and that they really look up to them as role models. Alongside that, the posture of my model on the right, is her looking directly at the camera in a fierce way with her arms folded which suggests she’s “bossy/tough” which again shows that she’s been inspired by their movement/posture.
