Procedure1. Build computer & install all software/ hardware/ operating systems

needed

2. Start up computer and begin normal use of computer

3. Pick a task that would need a lot of CPU power to run (normally agame that demands a lot of processing power) and do that forabout 30 minutes

4. Record initial temperature and continue to record temperature for 30minutes while still gaming or doing the CPU power requiring

task5.Turn off computer and let it cool

6. Follow instructions provided in the user manual in the Titan WaterCooling Set

7. Instead of putting in the provided antifreeze solution in, just fillreservoir with water

8. Repeat steps 2-49. Now add the provided solution

The Coolant kept the processor cooled longerand the temperature lower throughout thewhole experiment

The Water kept the processor at a lowertemperature than just air cooling but thecoolant worked better.

Air cooling the cheapest cooling method and

didnt work as well its still efficient in keeping

ConclusionIn conclusion myhypothesis that theLiquid cooling wouldwork better than the

air or water coolingwas correct. The nullhypothesis wasrejected. The anti-freeze worked betterbecause it had ahigher specific heatthan water. So it tooklonger for the anti-freeze to warm upthan it took for the

water to warm upthan the anti-freeze.

DiscussionSome mistakes that would have affected the

results of the project would be that thetemperature of my room could change as I

did this experiment on different days. I couldof used the processor more during one timethan another so that some trials theprocessor generated more or less heat thanprevious trials.

Some other variables could be add to futureexperiments, its possible to try a differentliquid to use to cool with or use a differenttype of case or combine two variables

together so that you could have liquid and airrunnin at the same time.
