Northminster Choir Chili Dinner

Tickets:- Adults - $20, Children under 12 - $10

Tickets will be available from the church office or from any choir member.

Last Sunday was Participation Sunday at North-minster. Committees and Church Groups set up displays to outline what each of the groups did.

Thank you to all who participated. Everyone was pleased with the event. Here are just a few of the many displays.

Thank you from the Grocery Gift Card Committee to all those who purchased cards last year. Total sales in 2016 was $74,060 realizing a profit of over $4,000 which will be used for special projects approved by the Church Council.

You are encouraged to support this fundraising project. You get full value for the gift cards you buy and your church reaps the benefits.

Grocery Gift Cards are available after church in the Parlour and in the Sunday School room on Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 am. Cheques should be made payable to Northminster U.C. Grocery Card Fund.

FRIENDSHIP CLUB MEETING

WED., FEBRUARY 8TH — 7:00 PM

It is with deep sadness that Northminster United Church learns of the passing, in her 98th year, on Dec. 29, 2016, of “Patty” Beatty-Bastedo, wife of the late Edgar (Ted) Bastedo.

In accordance with her wishes, Patty has been cremated. She will be interred in the spring following a family service in Fergus, Ontario.

ST. STEPHEN’S U.C. PRESENTS

The date of the Congregational Annual Meeting was set at the Church Council meeting and will take place on Sunday, March 5th, in the Lower Hall following our regular church service. Reports from Standing Committees and organizations within the church are due in the Church Office by the end of January. It would be appreciated if you could send your report as a Word doc file by email.
