Early Intervenon supports families of infants and toddlers, ages birth to three years, with developmental delays and disabilies. Children learn best with people they know and in the places they spend most of their me. The primary role of an Early Intervenon provider is to support families to increase their child’s parcipaon in everyday rounes and acvies. Early Intervenon providers use coaching interacons during early intervenon visits to help parents develop their abilies to interact with their children in ways that support their child’s learning and development. As a team, Early Intervenon providers and families come up with strategies that families can use within their daily acvies to help reach their goals for their child.
