Many of our Men’s Group perfected the art of Ten Pin Bowling. And the lunch was delicious after the hard work of bowling!
Yum!
TEN PIN BOWLING: 6th June The men's group had a great day Ten Pin Bowling at Tuggera-nong then headed off to lunch at the Southern Cross Club!
BONSAI DEMONSTRATION… The Men's group outing to Bom-bala was on Tuesday 23rd of May. We went to Graham and Betty's property where we were shown Graham's bonsai collec-tion and Betty's garden.
We enjoyed a picnic lunch in the garden and then were given a demonstration of how to start a bonsai plant.
Some of the men's group tried their hand at doing their own bonsai. This was a very enjoyable day as the weather was glorious and we were made very wel-come by Betty and Graham. Below: Robert having a go at making his own bonsai.
BOMBALA PLATYPUS AND LUNCH…..Wednesday 24th May we had an outing to
the Bombala Community Centre for a Cancer Council biggest morning tea. We met students from Bombala High school who cooked some of the delicious biscuits and cakes on offer, each client was given a bag of goodies courtesy of the Bombala com-munity centre, after leaving the Community centre we went out to the platypus re-serve which is along the Bombala river.
We called in at the Bombala Museum and gift shop, we then travelled on to Nimmitabel to stop for lunch at the pie shop. We returned to Cooma after this. This day was enjoyed by everyone.
