Grading Policy:

The purpose of collecting grades is to assess students' mastery of content and skills, not just effort.

Make-up work will be accepted when a student is absent. Arrangements for completing the work should be made as soon as possible; the student is given 5 days to do so. Arrangements must include a schedule for completion of the work. Students are encouraged to check my wiki or call classmates when absent to stay on top of class assignments.

If you forget to turn in homework, you will need to fill out a pink slip for my records.

Late work will be accepted, but a deduction of 10 points will be given for each late day.

And now...

Tell me interesting things about YOU! Each line needs to be specific to YOU! Limit "favorites" to one sentence and NO favorite colors! Remember, all descriptions must be in complete sentences. Finish this for homework if you do not finish in class. We will present these on Thursday. If you want to make a poster, include pictures or drawings that would be great!
