Pearson Pump™The Pearson Pump is a unique piston driven reverse osmosis pump with built in proprietary energy recovery technology. The energy recovery capability allows it to operate at 25% of the power of standard pumps and it is noticeably quieter than other systems similar in size. The Pearson Pump’s soft start technology means no amperage spikes. Engineered composites and super-duplex stainless steel inhibit corrosion.

The MPC 5000The Most Advanced Watermaker Controller Available

The MPC 5000 controller provides total automation and push button operation. Just set your watermaker’s run time and forget about it! When your tanks are full, the MPC 5000 fresh water

flushes the system and then defaults to the automatic storage cycle. Spectra’s exclusive filter condition monitoring lets you know when to change filters.

Our larger systems include a local display on the system and a remote display that can be located anywhere in the vessel, such as the navigation area. Multi-speed capacity on our larger machines allows for operation in high mode for maximum product flow or low mode for maximum efficiency and onboard power management. The MPC 5000 displays all of your systems’ parameters such as pressure, product water quantity and quality, filter condition, and operation hours. The auto-store feature will automatically flush the system every 5 days or add the Z-Ion Membrane Protection System to extend storage for 30 days.

The Spectra Ventura series is engineered for the smaller vessel to be energy efficient, light-weight, and self-regulating. These watermakers are composed of compact modules, making for easy installation in confined

spaces. The Ventura 150 operates anywhere in the world and delivers over 6 gallons (24 liters) an hour. The Ventura 200T is designed for tropical water and delivers over 8 gallons (31 liters) an hour. We offer models that operate on either 12V or 24V DC so can be run from solar, wind, or a small generator.

System OptionsVentura 150 or 200T are analog systems with intrument panels that show a feed water pressure gauge and a product flow meter. Also included are a hand-held salinity monitor and a three-way valve for product water testing.

Ventura 150 or 200T MPC are automatic systems that have the digital MPC 5000 control panel. The MPC 5000 displays pre-filter condition, feed water pressure, water tank status (with optional tank switch), product water quality, flow rate, and total system hours. The auto-store button will automatically flush the system every 5 days or add the Z-Ion Membrane Protection System to extend storage for 30 days.

Engineered in three capacities—400, 700, or 1000 gallons a day, the Newport MkII Z Series are the most energy

efficient, automated, and easy to use watermakers available. The Newport MkII Z Series operate at only 15-18 watts per gallon (4-5 watts per liter), making it possible to run your system on a small generator, solar, wind, batteries.

The PassportRental Watermaker

The Passport is a rental unit for boaters making short cruises or offshore races. Similar to renting a life raft, you can now rent a watermaker! The Passport is engineered for an easy and quick installation. The renter

buys the install kit with a strainer, quick disconnect fittings, hose and tubing. These stay with the vessel for future rentals. When you are done with your voyage, all you need to do is return the Passport back to Spectra or an authorized Passport agent.

Quick disconnects make the feed water and the brine discharge installation/removal quick and easy. They seal automatically so there is no danger to flooding the vessel.

Color coded filter gauge turns red to let you know when it is time to change the filter. There is no guesswork involved!

Power and control harnesses make for a quick and temporary installation. All you need to do is start and stop the machine, and the built-in Z-Ion takes care of the machine.
