1 PRESIDENT’S SPONSORA President’s Sponsorship gives your business or brand the ability to gain maximum exposure throughout ourtournament year. We offer our title sponsors full access to the 75,000 plus spectators and over 3,300 anglers who come experience “The Rodeo”. There are several opportunities throughout the tournament that we offer our title sponsors the advantage to use their company’s name to brand a specific event, category or division. For example, McConnell Automotive sponsored the Awards Ceremony because the demographic matched their target market. The Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo (ADSFR), a Project of the Mobile Jaycees, is one of the largest fishing tournaments in the world. Founded in 1929, the fishing rodeo now attracts over 3,300 anglers and 75,000 spectators. It is located on Dauphin Island, Alabama. (N30 15ʼ31, 90” W88 06ʼ47.78). The 83rd Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo will be held July 15-17, 2016. The ADSFR is a 3-day Captainʼs Choice tournament and a Southern Kingfish Association (SKA) sanctioned event. The total awards package is valued at over $400,000 and anchored Contender, Yamaha motor, and trailer package. The 3-day event features 30 categories with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in all categories. One Master Angler is also awarded along with cash prizes for King Mackerel, Speckled Trout and Big Game Jackpots. The ADSFR has donated over $200,000 to the University of South Alabama Department of Marine Sciences and annually funds academic scholarships.The major accomplishments of the ADSFR would not be possible without the strategic partnerships with successful sponsors like you.
