Vacation Bible School Vacation Bible School will be the week of July 17th through July 21st. Mark your calendar and plan to attend as we study Heroes Galatians 1:4. VBS is for grades K5th grade. Congratulations to Ryan & Heather Pokorzynski on the birth of a daughter Julia Janet born May 29th. Julia weighed 9 lbs. 2 oz and was 22.5” long. She joins her siblings Luke & John. Con- gratulations to the Grandparents Glenn Pokorzynski & Lani Mathews and to Mark & Jenny Moneypenny. Congratulations to Jason & Coral Lepper on the birth of a daughter Elizabeth Joy, born June 22nd. Elizabeth weighed 7 lbs. 3.7 oz. and was 20” long. Elizabeth is joined by her sister Isa- bella. Be in prayer for Aaron Wentz. Aaron was in a biking accident and broke his hip. Pray for comfort and com- plete healing. 4. Be in prayer for Kathy Danielson for her treatment for lymphoma. Comfort and peace for Kathy & Howard. 5. Pray for peace for Nancy Kanarr’s brother-in-law, Clare, as his condition worsens. 6. Be in prayer for VBS and the leaders July 17th21st. 7. As the school year ended, let’s join our hearts together and remember to pray for all our students from K- college as they encounter many challenges both intel- lectually and socially each day-let’s pray that they re- main faithful in their walk with the Lord. Lake Ann Camp Lake Ann Camp Bus will be leaving the church at 8:00 AM on Monday the 10th of July. Communion It is our joy this morning to celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Communion). Here at Word of Life we practice an “open” communion. This means that anyone who has accepted the free gift of salvation through faith alone in Jesus Christ may par- ticipate with our church family in the taking of the bread and cup. Please examine your heart this morning and join us in celebration. (Gluten free Communion wafers are available at the Welcome Center). Benevolent Offering Each Communion Sunday we take a Benevolent Offering. These funds are channeled to people with special needs. You may use the Benevolent Offering envelope in the pew rack and place it in the offering plate for your offering. L.I.F.E. Night Children's Ministry If you have a desire to see hearts young and old changed for the Lord, then come serve with us for 10 weeks on Wednesday nights this Fall. Our children's ministry team is off to a great start, but we still need: Game Leaders Age Group Helpers for K-5 Pre-K & Nursery Workers Willing Hearts Sign up at the credenza to help make Word of Life the place to be on Wednesday nights.
