Case Study You are the leader of a new country! It comes to your

attention that there needs to be somewhere to grow food so that your people don’t starve (You don’t have enough meat and fish to keep your whole country fed). You need workers and someone to oversee the growing. What are you going to do? Why are you doing it that way? A. Create a farm or farms run by the government. This way you can

have control over how much they produce. The workers will be government employees.

B. Provide an incentive for individuals to begin farming (i.e. some money to start the farm, or farm equipment, etc). You will then have individuals open stores where they will purchase the food, and resell it to the citizens of your country.

C. Somewhere in between!
