INTRODUCTION

The project involved visiting Bisleri factory at Andheri West, Mumbai.

The factory has a manufacturing process and is covered under the Factories Act. After the security check we proceeded to meet the Production Manager, Mr. Manmohandas Hegde who briefed us about the manufacturing process at the factory.

He also added that every drop that goes into the bottle has to go through a stringent purification process and no personnel is necessary in almost whole of the manufacturing process. This prevents contamination and hence the purity of Bisleri.

However, overall Bisleri wasn’t keen on sharing all the information we asked for, inspite of our best efforts.

Nevertheless, it was a good first hand experience which will definitely help us in the future.
