Chapter 1The request.

Gazing into the misty, starry sky, the couragous tribe ( the Arac Tribe) sat around the cosy campfire. Sparks of fire darted in the air. Despite the fact the environment was joyous, everyone silently sat on rough logs- the Arac tribe waited for the kin, patiently… Earlier this week the king summand the Tribe to attend this meeting- a meeting they couldn’t back out from. Now the time had come. Immerging from the thick fog, a dark figure approached the fire; it was the king! He was about to explain all…

“Hello tribe, thank you for coming,” the king greeted, politely.“We have been preparing for an… attack; we are in peril danger,” everyone’s eyes bulged out of their heads. Meanwhile, the king carried on,”… by giant wolves. We have suffered from this once and they cause a catastrophic disaster- a nightmare; the wolves destroyed our land, our homes, our community and our families. So we need someone to volunteer to travel and find the diamond chest and bring it back to our poor village (Anfantia.)

All was quiet; no-one moved, everyone stood transfixed. Until, Brooke ( a petite, shy girl) immersed from behind Jared.

Plucking up the courage to volunteer, Brooke crept closer towards the king.“I’ll go,” she whispered, shyly. Swiftly edging closer, the king barked,” No you’re a girl. I can’t send you!” Digesting the mean comment from the spiteful king, Brooke held back the tears. As soon as the king swizzled around to leave, his mind was bewildered. Although his instinct said ‘just keep walking’ his heart said’ turn back.’ So he did. Staring in disbelief at the sobbing, blonde girl, he noticed the golden necklace she was wearing. The symbol stood for unique, special- chosen one…

Chapter 2The race

After setting off, Brooke , eventually, approached a tall, intimidating volcano- should she do it? Could she do it? Stumbling up the volcano the outer wall was warming. Her heart was pounded like a drum. Sweat poured. Fear was over taking her- she was now under its control. She had to get into the volcano- quick. Gradually, she ventured up further. Standing, stiffly, at the peek of the volcano, terror froze her. Her mind flooded with thoughts: now what shall I do? Should I turn back? Was there any point in trying to save myself? Why did she agree to this? Regardless of what awaited her, she fell! Falling like a feather, heat burned Brookes face. As she swiftly soared through the clean, fresh air, she knew this was her doom. This was the end of her…

Listening to the bubbling lava, she drew one last breath and closed her eyes; she was just inches from burning. Although she had faith that she was going to survive, a part of her had no confidence. Suddenly a large, mysterious flapping creature swooped underneath Brookes timid body. Was this a dream? Was she alive?! Or was she in heaven? Gliding through a hole in the wall, the monster slowed to a halt; he knew something was on his back and flipped Brooke off, smashing her against the spiky wall. Brooke knew this thing was going to be trouble.

Recovering quickly from the painful accident, she stumbled to her feet. Blood oozing from her back, she yelped in pain. She caught a quick glimpse of the thing; its beady, glaring eyes; its pointy, brutal teeth; its substantial wing span- without a doubt, it was a dragon. Its robust features made it invincible. Growling like a dog, the dragon was preparing for battle. Brookes palms were sweaty. Her knees trembled, making it harder to run.

Twirling around in the north direction ready to run like a bull, out of the corner of her eye, a beautiful, Safire object clung to the wall. Contemplating whether to pull the object out, the dragon was angry, steam was coming out of the wall. Heaving the object with all of her might from the wall, she wondered. The object glistened in the cave light. It was a crystal! Brooke could hear the stones rumbling above her head. Oh no! Leaping out of the way of the noise, the stones tumbled down, clattering on top of the vicious monster. Brooke was locked in; there was no way out. Out of the blue, the north wall crumbled. She was free!

Rock climbing down the volcano, She stood transfixed. She stared at two options: a long, narrow pink path and a wide straight blue path. This may have been the hardest decision Brooke had ever made because which ever path she chose Brooke didn’t know what awaited her or if she would ever return the Anfantia.

Did she take the pink or blue path

Chapter 3Pink path

Having decided to take the pink path, she approached a patch of sand, as soon as the pink route ended. ‘Oh I’m glad I chose this route,’ Brooke thought.’ Wait! It can’t be this easy, there has to be a catch.’ Suddenly, her legs weren’t walking; they were sinking… ‘I knew it,’ Brooke exclaimed to herself. Very shortly, she would be drowning in sand. Glowing under the sand, it was the shiny jewel in Brooke’s ripped pocket. Forcing her hand under the sand, she Yanked the beautiful crystal from under. “Whatam I supposed to do with you,” she screamed, angrily, pointing the peek of the bizarre objecttowards a grubby rock. All of a sudden, a colossalrock, rapidly, started flying around. She was now at chest length. Deeper and deeper she sunk, the more apprehensive she became. “I’ve got it!” She shrieked. Knowing this was her only choice, she began guiding the rock; she started to assemble a bridge over the quicksand.

She was now at neck length, she was sinking faster than before however she knew that she had to do this- it was an obstacle that she had to over come. Although she was engulfed with agitation, Brooke proceeded. Determination ran through her veins. She knew if she could survive this, she could overcome anything- even golosafur.

She had done it! Hoisting herself up onto the sturdy, secure bridge, pushed the helpful object into her pocket, wondering what else it could be useful for.relieved she proceeded her laboriousJourney.

Chapter 3-blue path

Having decided to take the blue path, the mysterious road led through a misty, ghostly forest. A tingle of trepidation ran down Brooke’s spine. Hesitating she read the ruined sign: Forest… But little did she know underneath( crossed out) read: of fears… She entered. The intimidating trees towered over her. Leaves fell like a feather, shrivelling up when reaching the muddy floor. Fog immersed around her; she couldn’t see anything… Bump! Brooke collapsed to the floor. Something grabbed her foot ,firmly, tightening by the second. It happened again! But this time attacked her bony hand. Despite being tangled up andnot able to wriggle out, she wasn’t goingto give up that easy. Before she could fixthis it wrapped around her waist. MeanWhile the fog started to evaporate.

Her eyes darted everywhere, thinking of an escape route. Eventually, the fog disappeared. It was the tree routes. The trees were alive! Shocked, she noticed that the crystal had spilled out of her pocket; it was glowing. Fortunately, it wasn’t far from where she lay. Grasping the object, like her life depended on it, all of the vicious trees froze, as still as a statue. Brooke cracked the frozen trees, freed herself and then proceeded. Next page click here

Chapter 4Arrive at the Tower of Terror

After a while, Brooke, who was exhausted, approached a tower- the Tower of Terror. Hesitating at the large, wrecked building, Brooke knew what was beyond that door- the chest. Although she had not completed the task yet, she was elated. Gasping for breath, Brooke jogged up the last couple of unsecure steps. Swooping around in the small, claustrophobic room, a swarm of bats attacked Brooke. Staring at the door she paced in, slowly. She was now face to face with Golosafur…

Petrified, Brooke approached the key to the diamond chest- Golosafur. “You’ll never get your hands on the diamond chest!” He hissed, confidently.“And how is that?” Brooke questioned. “Because you have to get past me first,” Golosafur replied, circling Brooke. “And we all know that’ll never happen.”Adrenalin ran through her veins, as Golosafur’s beady red eyes glared at her. Golosafur pulled out glimmering gold sword. Yanking out the powerfulcrystal, Brooke begged,” Please help me now.”Golosafur charged at Brooke. Dodging out of the swords path, Brooke spotted the crystal smashed- smashed into a million little pieces. Fear no longer travelled through her, anger and determination took its place. Anger because Golosafur made her smash the crystal. Determination because Brooke was no longer a shy and weak girl; after everything she went through, she is a warrior.

With one last breath, Brooke ( with all of her anger, strength, might and determination) leaped through the air, snatching the creatures sword out of his hand.“Any last words?” Brooke asked. Silence. Brooke drew the sword and stared at Golosafur’s ten gruesome heads; his prickly spikes; his brutal, pointy teeth; and his pure evil, blood red, beady eyes. She drove the sword straight through his cold blooded heart. He was dead. Lifelessly, his body lay cold and still. Brooke strolled over to the chest. Felling relieved and brave, she walked back to her small town (Anfantia) holding her head high.

Chapter 5The attack

Sprinting through the gates of Anfantia, citizens congratulated her. Slowly pacing towards Brooke, the king smiled. After cheers had finished, the courageous king and brave Brooke, sat down I the kings enormous castle to open the chest. Opening the smooth chest, they peered inside. “What ius this?” Questioned the king. “Legends say that liquid is supposed to be inside the chest!”“I know how this helps,” Brooke said nodding. Hidden deep inside the chest
