The ICT4D Conference team has selected their ‘Top 100 ICT4D Accounts to Follow on Twitter in 2017’. The ICT4D Conference is an interactive multi-disciplinary gathering of inspiring thought-leaders, innovators, and program, IT and data managers from around the world to explore how information and communications technology (ICT) improves the results of humanitarian relief and development initiatives. By bringing together public, private and civil society organizations from across the humanitarian and international development community, the platform enables knowledge exchange and building of partnerships to accelerate achievement of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and make a measurable difference in millions of people’s lives. The Top 100 ICT4D Twitter accounts have been selected by level of activity, relevance of tweets, and number of followers. The list includes non-profit, private sector, multilateral and government organizations using information and communications technology for development (ICT4D) as well as known influencers. Many of the organizations mentioned in the below Twitter list will be present at the 2017 ICT4D Conference on the 15-18 May in Hyderabad, offering insights into ICT4D best practices, innovations and challenges in over 300 sessions around the theme of "From Innovation to Impact - Harnessing the Power of Data for the Sustainable Development Goals".
