Hypothesis
• I think it will not brake when you push it into the wall when you have the tape around the egg because the tape is like a seat belt
QuestionHow does Newton's first law of motion apply to
seatbelt safety?
Materials
• Uncooked egg,shoe box,duct tape.
Control:
• Egg,speed,and push
Variables:
• The use of tape
Procedure
Data/Observation
• The egg did not brake because the egg had the tape on the egg
• The egg had broke because the egg did not have the tape on it.
Analysis
• The egg did not brake because the tape was tape was around it and the the tape is like an seat belt
Conclusion
• We learn that with out the tape the egg will brake because the tape is like an seat belt
Newton's law
• Newton's first law of motion says an object in motion tends to stay in motion and objects at rest will stay at rest unless an objects act upon by an outside force
Line of Learning (seatbelt safety)
• Next Steps/New Questions
• What can we learn off of the Buckle or not to buckle?
• The next step is line of (seatbelt safety)
