This was my interpretation of AW2011, an ostentatious showcase of timeless leather, fur, and wool with leftover sum-mer lace to contrast the hyperfunction-al, piecemeal aesthetic of Mad Maxianausterity.

It is the job of fashion to provide an escape, to let unbridled fantasy and creativity run riot, safe in the knowledge that even in the age of austerity it is romance, opulence and individuality which will prevail.
