The program consists in a building that can provide a “reception” and a little museum to the Le Corbuisier’s Doppelhaus and also to the entire Weissenhof State. The project was designed considering the ideia of the “prom-enade architecturale”, going through the spaces and stimulat-ing the senses of the visitors.
Coming from the street level there is a big stained glass where you can have a preview of the gallery.-Going up on the ramps, it leads you to the square on the top of the museum and also to the Doppel-haus backyard level. From there the user “dives” into the internal dark ramps, going to the main gallery. The gallery, illuminated with the colors of the stained glass and natural light, contrasts with the darkness of the ramps.

Anga, from the “guarani” language means: shadow, shelter and soul. The chosen parti seeks to integrate these three concepts in order to create spaces for both: the contemplation of nature, and the inner self; shadow, maintaining the greatest possible amount of trees, as not to interfere with the local landscape; shelter, the units of rest and stay; and soul, the meeting spaces, living and reflection. This proposal creates a connection between the natural outer space and the interior of each, seeking a new scenario for Itapuã.

Location: Porto Alegre, Brazil
The choosen site for this project is located in the intersection of 3 districts: Cidade Baixa, Farroupilha and Centro Histórico; The area lacks on public spaces and identity, therefore the choosen parti prioritized the public space, the flexibility of uses and the relation between building and the surroundings. In the center of the site, the square sinks to the base-ment level reducing the noise from the Loureiro da Silva Avenue, raising the area of commercial and cultural facedes and respecting the visuals of the neighbours. The building has 9 floors; in the first level are the commercial uses, from 1 to 3 are the offices and medical offices and in the upper levels are the residential units with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. The project seeks a variety of typologies in order to bring flexibility to the spaces.
