Two Lights Dancing…

My next transmission log entries center around my new life with my

beloved Frankie. We are soon to engage in the mating ritual to

produce my first heir, I am hoping our biology is compatible

enough to create a new life form together.

Log 6: Engaging in Mating Rituals

Nox: Beloved, I would like to test out the traditional mating ritual that

is part of your people’s culture.

Frankie: Are you sayin’ you wanna woo hoo? Why not just say that?

Nox: Is that the proper term? I still have much to learn it seems.

Page 4: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

The ritual was successful, I heard the sound that signals a

completed fusion of genetic materials, Frankie called it a lullaby. I

really must learn the correct wording to use in reference to this

act…

Page 5: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

Nox: And there are no ill effects from the fusion process?

Frankie: Just what’s normal.

Nox: I see.

Frankie: You are so adorable in your shyness Noxy, I love that ‘bout

you.

Page 6: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

Nox: Then perhaps you should take this highly compressed coal fragment

as a symbol of our unity.

Frankie: Well shoot, you went and bought me a huge diamond Noxy!! Ain’t

you the sweetest thing!!

Nox: I take that as an affirmative?

Page 7: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

Frankie: You sure can!!

Nox: I am elated that you accepted it.

Frankie: I just love that fancy talkin’ of yours!!

While I was out earning the local currency to maintain our dwelling,

Frankie spent most of her gestation period on the primitive

computer we had. I was concerned about leaving her alone during

it, as I wasn’t sure that she would be alright but someone had to

earn the currency in the family and that was me.

Page 9: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

Perhaps I was right to be concerned, when I came home to find

our kitchen charred and stained with soot, I learned that Frankie

had set the stove on fire trying to cook some food.

Page 10: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

I told her that she should stick to eating foods that do not require

cooking until she got better at it, I was afraid for our offspring. I

could not bear to think that our offspring would be the cause of

her death.

Page 11: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

I was at ease once the gestation period was completed and

Frankie soon delivered our first born.

Log 7: A Successful Genetic

Merging

Frankie delivered a son, with pretty much everything from me,

though Frankie swore that he had her nose. I named him Orion, after

one of the most prominent celestial star patterns that can be seen

from this world.

Page 13: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

My son, and my heir. I could not believe that he was ours. He is so

tiny and fragile, I cannot bear to be parted from him for long. But

as I said, someone must earn the local currency…

Page 14: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

It is moments like this that I am glad I went through with the

genetic merging process. He is worth it.

Page 15: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

Eventually though, he must grow up; as much as I would rather he

remain small and tiny. Frankie informed me that she was once

again pregnant and soon we would have more little ones around

the house. I was so elated from the idea I did not think that anything

could go wrong…

This pregnancy was a lot harder on Frankie than the last one, she

seemed to have more difficulty taking care of herself this time. I

wanted to think it was only because she was tired from watching

Orion while I worked, it seemed to be the most probable situation

for her needs to drop so much. I knew I had hired a butler to help

her out, but it seemed that he was not working the way he should.

Page 17: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

Log 8: Tragedy and Loss

I had no words to describe my reaction to what I learned from our

butler once I got that call at work… my beloved Frankie…she died.

Page 18: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

I do not understand…she carried Orion to term easily…why did this

one kill her?

Page 19: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

Why was the butler not there??

Luckily, I was able to salvage the situation before my entire mission

had to be aborted, I rushed home as soon as I could and made sure

to fire that butler and quit my job to watch my son, who will now

have to grow up without his mother…

**Thank God for the FT Plead with Social Worker perk for Family sims…I nearly

had a heart attack when that music began to play!!**

Page 20: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

I knew I had to be there for my son, he needed me more than ever

now that his mother was gone. I had saved enough currency to

survive on for a while, but I had to get out of this house and away

from the memories it had within its walls. A new start is what’s best I

think. I hope I can maintain my composure when Orion asks me

one day where his mother is.

Page 21: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

Orion was growing up so fast, I wished Frankie could have seen her

little boy now, he’s such a wonderful child. We would move as

soon as he was old enough to. I wanted to give him a while to get

used to school before we left.

Page 22: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

I taught him the importance of school work and how it can help

him get ahead in life, he seemed to understand what I meant.

Orion is a great student, I never went to an Earth school so I have

no idea what to expect from one. It would have been nice to have

some sort of insight into it so I could help him through.

Page 23: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

Log 9: Learning to Cope

I knew Frankie was gone, that was a fact but it did not stop me

from dreaming of what could have been…

Page 24: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

…what it would have been like to see her carry the second child

to term…

Page 25: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

…or even if it was “children”, plural…three or so…

Page 26: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

…to have all three of them grow up with their big brother together,

to play together in the sun and have fun…

Page 27: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

…to have three girls as beautiful as their mother and to see Frankie

fulfill her dream of being a doctor with our children…

Page 28: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

…how nice it would have been to see them grow up together

with their big brother…

Page 29: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

Log 10: Looking Forwards

Orion: Dad?

Nox: Yes?

Orion: What were you thinking about?

Nox: Your mother son, I miss her.

Orion: What was she like?

Nox: Your mother was a beautiful woman, I truly loved her. She would be so proud of you now my son, to see how you’ve grown.

Page 30: The Star Healer ISBI: Chapter 1

Orion: I wish I could remember her…

Nox: I wish you could have known her as well.

Orion: Well I’ll paint these flowers for her then, she’ll see them from Heaven.

Nox: That would be very nice for her I’m sure she will love them.

End Transmission.
