Riders and Officials Agenda Headquarters, Showers/Changing Accommodation:-

Abergavenny Rugby Club, Fairfield, Park Rd, (adjoining Bailey Park) 17:00hrs - Race Control Open – Signing on, Verification of licences and collection of numbers. 19:45hrs – Sign on the Start & Finish Line. Warming up on the circuit, please ensure all competitors of the supporting event have finished. Access to the circuit is via Merthyr Rd and Tudor St. follow the Purple arrows. Pits - The pits are situated in Frogmore St. Team cars to follow the purple arrows to arrive on the circuit. 21:15hrs – Approx. Finish - Presentation of 1st- 2nd -3rd on the podium at finish line immediately after the finish. Medical Control – “A number of competitors in the Criterium may be called upon to provide samples for anti-doping control. The names of those required will be displayed near to the finish and at the Anti-Doping Control Station. It is the responsibility of each and every rider to check if he is required to attend the control. It should be noted that this applies to every rider who completes the signing on procedure and that there is no exception should anyone retire during the event. Non-finishers may be equally subject to testing.” Penalties – The UCI Scale of penalties will apply Youth and Supporting Events 18:15 hrs Circuit open for warming up, check with commissaire at the start line that it is safe to proceed, riders not adhering to this procedure will be eliminated from the events.

Saturday 27th June Riders and Officials Agenda Headquarters and Showers/Changing Accommodation: - Abergavenny Rugby Club, Fairfield, Park Rd, Abergavenny (adjoining Bailey Park) Follow the purple arrows. 07:00hrs - Race Control Open – Signing on, Verification of licences and collection of numbers. 08:00hrs – Commissaires, Managers and Officials meeting First Floor (including the draw for convoy positions) 08:15hrs – 08:45hrs Sign on the Start & Finish Line. Official and Team cars to follow the green arrows to arrive at the start via Merthyr Rd. and Tudor St. to line up in Baker St. adjoining the start. Official cars and escort motor cycles to continue into Frogmore Street and line up in race formation. Riders Commissaire1 and Neutral Service 1 to access start at the Cenotaph. Riders please sign on in teams where possible, interviews with com-mentator. Please let’s have a steady flow of riders and not all queuing at the end, as signing on will close promptly and you could be eliminated. 09:00 – Race Start – Security of the race will be managed by Gwent Police assisted by the Wales National Es-cort Group. There will be 12 Police motor cyclists and 2 command cars making this one of the safest races in the UK. If you have been passed by the rear police car then you are on your own and outside the protection of the race. Riders in arrears of 10 minutes of the leading riders will be withdrawn from the race. It may be necessary to cut this time gap at the discretion of the commissaire/police, i.e. riders are deemed not to be contributing to the race and are causing problems for traffic management. Deviation – All cars & m/c’s with the exception of the Commissaries to deviate at the Angel corner, follow the red arrows to arrive in Baker St. Service – Three neutral service cars are provided. Team support cars must be branded with prominent team identification. Drivers must have previous race experience and hold a current BC licence and be supporting a minimum of three riders. Team managers will draw for positions in race convoy at the officials/commissaries meeting. Feeding Station – at 42 miles 67km. after the left turn dir. Mitchel Troy 11:45hrs – Approx. The National Elite Road Race Championship Under Union Cycliste International Regulations

Sunday 28th June Riders and Officials Agenda Headquarters and Showers/Changing Accommodation: - Abergavenny Rugby Club, Fairfield, Park Rd, Abergavenny (adjoining Bailey Park). Follow the purple arrows. Saturday 27th June 18:00hrs - Race Control Open – Verification of licences and collection of numbers, Commissaires, Managers and Officials meeting First Floor (including the draw for con-voy positions) Sunday 28th June 09:00hrs - Race Control Open – Signing on, Verification of licences and collec-tion of numbers if you missed the previous evenings meeting. 09:00hrs – 09:45hrs Sign on the Start & Finish Line. Following the presentation of the Junior Championships. Official and Team cars to follow the green arrows to arrive at the start via Merthyr Rd. and Tudor St to line up in Baker St adjoining the start. Official cars and escort motor cycles to continue into Frogmore Street and line up in race formation. Riders and commissaire 1 and Neutral service 1 to access the start at the Cenotaph. Riders please sign on in teams where possible, inter-views with commentator. Please let’s have a steady flow of riders and not all queuing at the end, as signing on will close promptly and you could be eliminated. 11:00hrs – Race Start – Security of the race will be managed by Gwent Police assisted by the Wales National Escort Group. There will be 12 Police motor cyclists and 2 command cars making this one of the safest races in the UK. If you have been passed by the rear police car then you are on your own and outside the protection of the race. Riders in arrears of 10 minutes of the leading riders will be withdrawn from the race. It may be necessary to cut this time gap at the discretion of the commisaire/police, i.e. riders are deemed not to be contributing to the race and are causing problems for traffic management. Deviation – All cars & m/c’s with the exception of the Commissaries to deviate at the Angel corner, follow the red arrows to arrive in Baker St. Service – Three neutral service cars are provided. Team support cars must be branded with promi-nent team identification. Drivers must have previous race experience and hold a current BC licence and supporting a minimum of three riders. Team managers will draw for positions in race convoy at the commissaries meeting on Saturday. Feeding Station – 1 at 47 miles 76km. (after the right turn towards Brynmawr 2 on the finish Circuits at Mardy not the Penultimate and last laps 15:30hrs – Approx. Finish - Presentation of U23 & 1st- 2nd -3rd and 1st Sprint and Mountain Com-petitions at the finish line. Media interviews will take place immediately after the presentation at the finish area. Medical Control – “A number of competitors may be called upon to provide samples for anti-doping control. The names of those required will be displayed near to the finish and at the Anti-Doping Control Station. It is the responsibility of each and every rider to check if he is required to attend the control. It should be noted that this applies to every rider who completes the signing on procedure and that there is no exception should anyone retire during the event. Non-finishers may be equally subject to testing.” Penalties – The UCI Scale of penalties will apply Riders please note:- Any rider withdrawing on the finish circuit do not under any circumstance turn round and retrace your route against the race traffic on the closed roads.
