Cecilia C. Doak , Leonard G. Doak , Matthew J. Loscalzo - Pictures closely linked to written or spoken text can, when compared to text alone, markedly increase attention and pictures can also improve comprehension when they show relationships among ideas or when they show spatial relationships.

Whether we consider the case of communication between two bodies or broadcasting of information to masses, technology has played a constructively role in evolving communication towards more effectiveness.
