Welcome to the event where you can showcase yourtechnical knowledge - Tech Quiz!!! Tech Quiz is a competition organized in SPECTRA – thenational level technical festival of Sardar Patel Collegeof Engineering. This competition provides a platform forengineering students to showcase their technicalknowledge in the field of civil engineering.

Any student from Civil engineering or architecture background.Single participants only.Gmeet (Google Meet) is required and browser for google form

ELIGIBILITY:

FORMAT OF CONDUCTIONThe competition will be held through online mode. The competition will be held in three stages.First stage would be Qualifying Round.The points of Second & Third Round would be considered to declarethe winner.


• This stage will be conducted through GOOGLE FORM and GOOGLEMEET. • There will be 25 questions of 1 mark each for which 15 minutes willbe allotted to complete it. • The multiple choice questions format will be followed. • The participants can only submit the answers once. • The results would be declared on the spot after all the participantssubmit their answers.

Those participants who score above average will qualify for thenext stage


STAGE 1


• This stage will be conducted through GOOGLE MEET . • The participants would be asked questions which would be presented on thescreen. • The answers are to submitted through chat box. • The participant whose correct answer is submitted first in the chat box will beconsidered for evaluation only. • There will be 10 questions asked in total. • The questions will follow multiple choice format. • Each question will carry 2 points for correct answer. • The results would be declared on the spot. The top 7 participants with highest score in this stage will be considered forthe next stage.


STAGE 2


• This stage will also be conducted through GOOGLE MEET.• The participants will be asked questions personally which they can passforward to the next participant. • There will be multiple choice questions of 5 points each.• Each participant will be given 2 minutes to answer the question after which itwould be automatically passed to the next participant.


STAGE 3

• The participant with highest score will be declared as the winner of the competition. • The participant who will pass the question will lose 1 points and the participant who willanswer that question will get 4 additional points. • Question will be pass to single participant after that new question will be asked. • If the participant gives wrong answer then he/she would lose 2 points. • The participant with highest score will be declared as the winner of the competition.


Participants should not be late in the meeting, points would bededucted accordingly.Camera should be on throughout entire meeting.Once registered money would not be returned.

• The registration process will stop 1 day prior to the quiz. • Any participant found to malpractice, cheating or using wrongmethods or misbehaving will be eliminated on the spot. • The answers must be submitted within the allotted time only. Theanswers submitted after that would not be considered for evaluation.
