WHAT  IS  THE  POINT  OF  STORYBOARDING?  

 Storyboarding  is  oMen  used  by  producNon  teams  in  the  pre-­‐producNon  phase.    

 It  is  the  first  step  towards  visualising  a  script.    

 It  makes  shooNng  and  direcNng  a  sequence  much  quicker  to  complete.

Storyboarding  exercise  

•  Storyboard  a  four  frame  sequence  to  begin  your  advert  with  camera  movement  and  a  transiNon.    

•  You  must  clearly  annotate  each  frame  with  all  the  relevant  informaNon.  

Make  sure  you  are  clear  on:  Product  /  Target  Audience  /  Slogan  /  Lines  of  Appeal  before  you  start  storyboarding.
