What is the SRNT 2021 Virtual Meeting?

Contract for SpaceThis application for exhibit space and payment of the virtual booth rental charges constitute a contract for the right to use the space . Applications must be accompanied by the total booth fee .

These guidelines have been formulated in the best interest of all concerned and become a part of the contract between the exhibitor and association . All matters and questions not covered by these regulations are subject to decision by show management .

Exhibitors submitting a contract agree to the guidelines and regulations set forth in this agreement .

Booth Configuration and LocationEach vendor will have the choice of their virtual booth and what collateral/interaction options will be available pending the final package selected .

Show management reserves the right to move the booth location in the virtual exhibit hall based on the package selection . All exhbitors would be informed about such a move .

PersonnelEach exhibiting company that purchases an Island, Double, or Single Booth is entitled to two exhibitor registrations per booth purchase . (A banner booth package only includes one complimentary registration to the virtual exhibit hall .) Please note that optionally booth vendors may exhibit longer hours outside of the advertised “open staff hours” during the virtual meeting dates .

Exhibitors agree to interact respectfully and thoughtfully with all registrants in the exhibit area, educational sessions, and networking situations and respect the rights of other exhibitors to conduct business without interference or improper interventions .

Use of Exhibit SpaceNo exhibitor shall assign, sublet, or share the whole or any part of the space allotted without the consent of show management . No exhibitor is permitted to show goods other than those manufactured or handled by the company in the regular course of business . No firm or organization not assigned space in the exhibit hall will be permitted to solicit business in any manner within the exhibit area .

LogosThe associations’ logos may not be used in any printed materials distributed by the exhibiting company .

RestrictionsShow management reserves the right to restrict exhibits that because of methods of operation or for any reason become objectionable and also to prohibit or evict without refund any exhibit or person that in the opinion of the management may detract from the general character of the exposition or who interferes in any way with another exhibiting organization, their exhibit staff, or meeting attendees . No undignified manner of attracting attention will be permitted .

The associations reserve the right to prohibit exhibition or advertisement of any product it deems unsuitable for the exposition .

Booth Design ElementsComplete information will be sent to each virtual exhibitor in January 2021 .

Mailing ListSRNT will ask attendees to “opt in” to a networking attendee directory that will be shared with exhibitors within one-week of the virtual meeting .

Cancellation of ExpositionNo refund for space rental will be made after January 15, 2021, unless the space can be resold . A 50% refund will be given for cancellations on or prior to January 15, 2021 .

Cooperation of ExhibitorsThe foregoing regulations with reference to exhibits have been formulated in the best interests of the exhibitor and cooperation is therefore requested . These regulations are a part of the agreement between the exhibitor and show management . Any matters not specifically covered in this prospectus and contract are subject to decision by show management . Show management reserves the right to make such changes, amendments, and additions to these rules as it considers advisable for the proper conduct of the exhibition, with the provision that all exhibitors will be advised of any such changes .

SRNT’s Annual Meeting is a scientific conference presented for nicotine and tobacco research scientists .

SRNT will consider applications from vendors (government agencies, non-profit organizations, and for-profit organizations) that:

• Produce a product that may be used by the broad scientific community for accepted research practices;

• Produce US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved treatments for tobacco dependence;

• Publish peer-reviewed research or other information that supports the work of the scientific community;

• Represent government or other funding agencies; or

• Engage in business that supports SRNT’s vision to understand and treat nicotine and tobacco dependence and advance tobacco control with the ultimate goal of eradicating the global tobacco epidemic .

SRNT will not accept vendors that: • Are owned by or directly related to companies within the tobacco industry;

• Produce products that are not evidence-based treatments for tobacco dependence;

• Produce tobacco dependence treatment products that are not regulated by the FDA; or

• Engage in business that is in conflict with SRNT’s vision to understand and treat nicotine and tobacco dependence and advance tobacco control with the ultimate goal of eradicating the global tobacco epidemic .

Vendor applications will be reviewed, using SRNT’s mission and vision to guide the decision-making process . If questions arise, documentation proving that a company is not affiliated with the tobacco industry may be required .
