Hiking about a solar energy system for your home?
Here's some good news.
MNSE, IREDA, NABARD, Rural Electrification, has set aside millions of Rupees to help finance the installation of solar power systems for residents, businesses, and organizations throughout our electric service area.
And that means you may be eligible for a loan from MNSE, IREDA, NABARD that can help finance 60% – 90% of your qualified solar power installation.
What should my business consider before moving forward?
A solar electric system can significantly lower your energy bills, so you can increase your profit margin and put more money back into your business. It can also help your organization reduce its environmental footprint.
But, if you’re thinking of installing a system and applying for the PSE&G Solar Loan Program, you should…
Operate your business in electric service area.
Have predominantly South facing, unobstructed roof areas without shading. It is ok too be East or West of due south up to a point – most sites will not be 180 degree due South.
Have a large enough installation area. A solar electric system requires approximately 100 ft2 of installation area per kilowatt.
Have a well-maintained roof that is, ideally, less than 5 years old. If your roof is older than that, you might consider replacement before installing a solar electric system.
If your business meets these requirements, now is the time to make solar power a reality.
Planning your solar power installation for your business. Here are some tips that will guide you through the steps you need to take before you contact TRES for financing.Step 1: Learn the facts.
Step 2: Find a skilled contractor and compare costs and savings.
We recommend talking with at least three different contractors/installers, and having each submit a proposal based on an on-site audit of your property.
The proposals you request from competing contractors should allow you to make a direct comparison of all costs associated with system ownership, such as equipment, size of system your home can accommodate, and expected annual energy generation. Once you choose your vendor, you’ll be ready to…
Step 3: Apply for Solar Loan financing.
TRES will guide finance project loans approximately 60% – 90% of the cost of a qualified operating solar electric system. Your contractor will work with you to help you
with the loan application and technical documents you’ll need to apply for financing.
Thinking about a solar energy system for your business?
Here's some good news.
And that means you may be eligible for a loan from funding agencies that can help
finance 60% – 90% of your qualified solar power installation. What’s more, unlike other loans, you can elect to have the Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs) your solar electric system generates to pay back your loan.
Solar project loan has simplified and improved the loan approval and closing process. It’s now easier than ever to get a Solar Loan.
It’s all part of TRES continuing efforts to encourage the development and installation of c
Is a solar power system right for your business?
10.Loan applications will be accepted into the following segments:
a.Greater than 150 kW up to 500 kW (non-residential)
25MW
b. Up to 150 kW (non-residential) 17MW
c. Residential 9MW
11.Loan applications will be accepted on a quarterly basis, with eight application periods over a two-year period. The first application period will begin as soon as practicable after BPU approval. The following table shows the initial proposed schedule of quarterly application periods:
Over the years we've seen many solar panel manufacturers come and go, taking their warrantees with them, leaving consumers with failed products and no recourse. Just in
the past two years, literally hundreds of new, non name brand solar panel manufacturers from all over the world have jumped on the solar bandwagon.
The one thing that we know for certain from our eleven years of experience in this industry is that the majority of these new solar panel manufacturers will not exist within
the next five years.
You may find dealers who are offering these off brand solar panels at bargain prices describing them as "high quality solar modules" or "top of the line product" but the fact is that regardless of a U.L. rating or regardless of how well built a solar panel appears to
be, the most important consideration behind the purchase of any solar panel is the financial strength of the name behind the product.
Here at Value Solar we only offer top name brand solar panels from well established, very large manufacturers that possess the financial muscle to honor their warrantees. Buying non name brand solar modules may save you some money up front, but 3 or 4
years from now when those bargain brand solar panels fail and the manufacturer is nowhere to be found, any money that you saved today will be worthless without an enforceable warranty. No matter what solar dealer you buy your solar system from
always insist on solar panels from large name brand manufacturers who are much more likely to be there decades from now to honor their warranty should you have a solar

15 kWh x 3413 British Thermal Units = 51,195 Btu
