Logging In1. Enter your username in Username text entry box .

2. Enter your password in Password text entry box .

3. Click the “Login” button .

If you think that you’ve forgotten your username and/or password, click on “Forgot Username or Password?” You will be prompted to enter your email address or username and an email will be sent with further instructions .

Finding a Product4. Start typing a model number into the “Find” text entry box .

As you type, you’ll see a list of models that match what you’ve entered into the search box .

5. Click on the model number in the drop-down menu . You’ll be taken to the Pricing & Availability page for that product .

Calculate Your Price for a Product1. Look for the “Pricing” area on the left side of the page .

2. Enter the amount of the product in the “Quantity” text entry box .

3. Select your desired package type from the “Package” drop-down menu . This is handy if you know you want to order by the carton or pallet .

4. “Your Price” will be calculated below instantly .

If your standard pricing options have not yet been established for this product, or if pricing for this product depends on some specific options, you’ll see a message directing you to contact Simpson Strong-Tie Customer Service for assistance .

View the Availability of a Product5. Availability information is shown below the pricing area . This

shows you the quantity of product currently available at your local branch . If the quantity of product you entered above is greater than the quantity in stock at your local branch, the text in this area will be red and be displayed with an “X” next to it .

6. You can view the national availability of products by clicking on the “View Nationwide Availability” box . Please note that you will still order through your local branch .

View Packaging and Extended Pricing InformationThe “Packaging and Pricing” table is located in the lower right section of the page

If the product can be sold individually (typical for many connectors), you’ll find the following columns:

1. Description: The package description or any discounts you may be eligible for

2. Quantity: The number of items per package

3. List Price Per Unit: The list price of each item

4. Net Price per Unit: Your price for each item

5. Package Net Price: Your price for a given package quantity

6. Weight: Weight of the package

If the product is sold only in packages or only in multiples (typical for many fasteners), the system will display the following columns:

7. Description: The package description or any discounts you may be eligible for

8. Quantity: The number of items per package

9. Number of Pieces: The total number of pieces per package

10. List Price Per Unit: The list price of each item

11. Net Price per Unit: Your price for each item

12. Package Net Price: Your price for a given package quantity

13. Weight: Weight of the package

Add an Item to Your Cart1. Enter the quantity and package type you would like

2. Click on the “Add to Cart” button

3. The “Cart” button in the upper navigation will now show that you have one SKU in your cart . This number will reflect the total number of SKUs you have in your cart, not the total number of items .

If you need more of an item than we currently have available, you may still add the full amount to your cart, which will show the quantity that is back ordered . A Simpson Strong-Tie customer service representative will then be in contact with more information about your order .

Entering or Modifying Your Order Information1. Click on the “Cart” button in the upper navigation to view or

modify your current order .

2. Billing information reflects the information we have on file for your account and cannot be edited .

3. Enter the address this order should be shipped to, or use the “Addresses on File” button to choose from one of the addresses we have on file for your account .

4. If your shipment is being delivered to a job site, check this box and you’ll be asked to enter a contact name and phone number to insure the courier can find the site .

5. Enter a PO number (required), Job (optional), choose your Shipping Terms (required), and Shipping Provider/Account (if applicable) . You can also enter any notes for the Simpson Strong-Tie customer service team .

6. You can modify the item being ordered or the quantity using the fields in the table .

7. If you require more of an item than we have in stock, the amount that is back ordered will be shown .

8. If you would like to remove an item from your order, click the red “delete” button in that item’s row .

9. If you would like to add another item, you can click the “Add Another Item” button to add an additional row to the table where you can enter the part number and quantity you wish to order .

Placing Your Order1. When you are ready to place your order, click the “Submit

Order” button . After confirming you wish to submit this order, you’ll be directed to the “Orders” page where you’ll see your pending order, along with other orders that have been placed by your account .

Viewing Previously Placed Orders1. Click on the “Orders” button in the upper navigation to

view orders you’ve placed . This list will show all orders your company has placed with us over the last six months .

2. You can choose to see open orders, or select a specific month to see the orders that shipped that month .

3. You can search orders by PO number, Job, or for orders that contained specific products .

4. Clicking on an Order Number will allow you to view the invoice for that order .

5. Clicking on an Item will take you to the product page for that item .

Change Your Password1. Click on the “Settings” button in the upper navigation .

2. Enter your current password .

3. Enter a new password . Passwords must have one uppercase character, one number, and be at least eight characters long .

4. Enter your new password a second time to confirm .

5. Click the “Change Password” button to make the change .
