About SimonBorn in 1971 Simon Posford is an electronic musician from England specializing in Goa Trance. Simon grew up in the village of Chobham, Surrey. While attending the nearby Woodcote school he played keyboards in his first band, "the Electric Light Failure." Later as a teenager he experimented extensively with home recording, first on a 4 track portastudio and later with a Tascam MSR-16 16 track recorder. He is also the co-founder of Twisted Records with Simon Holtom (previously manager of Youth's Dragonfly label), which is one of the most influential psychedelic trance record labels.

HallucinogenHallucinogen is one of Posford’s stage names. The seeds of Hallucinogen aka Simon Posford were sown many moons ago at Youths Butterfly Studios in Brixton, where Simon created the trance classic "LSD". This was followed by a string of well loved 12"s and "TWISTED". With the release of he highly successful album "The Lone Deranger", he embraces the future of psychedelic trance.

ShpongleShpongle is a psychedelic downtempo or Psybient music project. The members are Simon Posford (aka Hallucinogen) and Raja Ram .Their sound has sampled eastern ethnic instruments and western contemporary synthesizer-based psychedelic music. Posford is responsible for the synth and studio work while Raja Ram contributes with flute arrangments. The name "Shpongle" is not a dictionary recognized word; it is derived from a rumor when Raja Ram was asked at a party to see how he was feeling. He replied "I feel...Shpongled.".

Younger BrotherYounger Brother was formed in 2003 by Simon Posford and Benji Vaughan. Their particular genre of music is difficult to accurately classify as it suggests many different forms of electronic music without subscribing to a specific style. The debut album, A Flock of Bleeps, released on the Twisted Records record label has taken on cult status in underground electronica scenes around the world; with the duo drawing crowds from across the globe.
